High-Quality Dash Cam with Crystal-Clear Footage
This dash cam exceeded my expectations. The video quality is excellent - 4K at 60fps looks incredibly smooth, and the 2.5K rear camera adds solid backup coverage. Night vision is clear and reliable, thanks to the STARVIS sensor and HDR feature, which handles different lighting conditions really well. The built-in GPS and 5G Wi-Fi make it easy to track routes and transfer footage. I also appreciate the wide 170° angle, it captures everything on the road without distortion. It even came with a free 64GB SD card, which is a nice bonus. Compact design, easy setup, and great performance, definitely one of the better dash cams I’ve used. Recommended!

I got the right one.
I chose the D900 model of GKU dashcam largely due to the compact size along with high resolution and frame-rate. It happened to include a tiny monitor, pretty much only useful for basic status feedback, but that's OK, because my truck already has 360 large screen video coverage from the factory, but I wanted the dashcam for high quality recordings, along with synchronized GPS mapping and speed data, both for liability/security AND scenic travel logging. Testing, so far, is validating these expectations, but I barely have it going, and will likely update later.Installation is what I expected, but don't expect "EASY" on this or any other dashcam, unless you got something to just slap on the dash or window without regard to discreet installation connection. Neither is it "HARD", though I have yet to hide the cables or the "hardwire" kit (which BTW, they will send without charge if you ask nicely).Wireless connection is as good as can be expected, with some idiosyncrasies inherent in a phone-vehicle tecosystem that I won't bother fulling mapping out. The "Connect" button in the app hands off to the phone wifi - and back - much better than many apps, but may interrupt other things you depend on the phone wifi, like Android Auto. But that's usually gonna be OK, because the dashcam is mostly set-and-forget - until I go on vacation and want to use it for travel-logging, though swapping SD cards will be in order for that.Which brings me to file download speed, which you'd think 5ghz would handle swiftly... but only if your files are low-rez, which defeats the point that I bought this model for hi-rez 60fps. It's a trade off you'll need to handle with multiple large SD cards (maybe not 512, unless you first test for reliability and don't cheap-out on brand). Just don't blame the D900 for any of that, or keep it on low to moderate resolutions.Again, I'm still getting up to speed with it, but I've got no big issues with the functionality, design, or build quality, and am pretty satisfied I bought the right one. Will try to let you know if that changes.

Excellent 4K Dash Cam with Great Features
I’m really impressed with this Dash Cam. The 4K video quality (especially at 60fps) is incredibly sharp, and the STARVIS sensor ensures clear footage even at night. The rear camera adds great coverage, and the 170° wide angle captures everything I need on the road.Setup was smooth, and the 5GHz WiFi makes file transfer and live view extremely fast and stable through the app. GPS adds accurate tracking to each clip. I love the compact 1.47" display—it’s small but clear. HDR works well in both bright and low-light conditions. It also comes with a free 64GB SD card, which is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a high-quality, reliable dashcam with excellent value. Highly recommend!

Great dash cam, very nice image quality
The media could not be loaded. This dash cam is an excellent deal. Image quality and night vision are great at this price point. Installation was fairly straightforward, and the app works well. The end result of the installation is barely visible. I can only see one little bit of wire above the back windshield. Everywhere else, I was able to tuck the wire into trim easily using the thoughtfully included spudger tool. Overall, I'm very happy!I do have some specific suggestions for others on installation:1) Installation of the cameras involves attaching clear electrostatic sheets to the front and rear windshields, and then sticking the cameras to the sheets. It's tricky to get them on without bubbles. If there are bubbles, just poke them with a needle. Don't try to push them out or reposition the sheet, as it makes the sheet cloudy.2) Once you've attached a camera to the sheet, it is not coming off the sheet again. Be very careful when you put it on. However, the sheet can pull off the window if you pull sideways on the wire while pushing the wire into trim. I learned that the hard way.3) Be sure that the camera lens doesn't have to see through the electrostatic sheet. That's easy for the front camera, because it's a lot wider. But the rear camera really needs to be placed right at the side edge of the sheet so that it only looks through the rear windshield. The sheet interferes with image quality.4) I asked for the optional hardwire kit, and installed it into a 2019 Subaru Ascent. I used fuse #9 for the ACC connection, and #32 for the B+ (always on) connection. I also needed to buy separate fuse taps because the hardwire kit uses mini fuses, and the Ascent uses mini low profile fuses. I just cut off the attached mini fuses and crimped the wires into the fuse taps.5) I chose to position the front camera so that it's hidden by the rear view mirror. This is because the built-in screen is so tiny that it's not really useful while driving. All settings are made with the app, and the video is also much easier to see on my phone by connecting with the app via Wifi. I also put black electrical tape over the screen because I was afraid a reflection might interfere with the EyeSight cameras of the car.6) I positioned the rear camera upside-down, so that it would block less of the rear windshield. The rear camera can be flipped horizontally or vertically in the app, so you have more flexibility with how you mount it.7) Both cameras together use about 400MB of storage space per minute. That means that the included 64 GB SD card will only be able to record about 2.5 hrs of video before it loops around and videos start getting overwritten. If you want to retain video for longer, be sure to buy a bigger micro SD card.
