Firesara Fabric Swim Cap, Soft Stretch Swimming Hat for Long Hair & Short Hair

Excellent fabric swim cap. It’s super stretchy, soft, and easy to put on and take off without any hair pulling or breakage (something that always happened to me with silicone caps). It fits well for both long and short hair, stays securely in place while swimming, and is quite breathable. It’s not 100% waterproof (some water does get in), but it’s ideal for protecting your hair and staying comfortable. The one-size fits me perfectly and dries quickly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something more comfortable than traditional silicone swim caps.

I really like this swim cap! The fabric is soft, stretchy, and comfortable, and it’s much easier to put on and take off than traditional silicone caps. It keeps my hair contained without pulling or snagging it, and it stays in place nicely while swimming. It’s also lightweight and dries quickly. Just keep in mind that because it’s a fabric cap, it’s not designed to keep your hair completely dry. Overall, great quality and a comfortable option for swimming! 🏊‍♀️

I've wanted a fabric cap for a long time, and a tear in my silicone cap that lasted for 3 years of weekly swims was a good excuse to try this cap. I swam with the cap 2X to date in a 25m lap pool, 1600m each swim. I like that putting on and adjusting the cap doesn't pull on my hair, a good thing. It's a bit looser than I expected it to be. I think I have normal size head with long hair. If I had to swim without googles, (highly unlikely) it could shift during laps. Since I do swim with googles, it says put nicely. I don't like tight fits or caps that fit over my ears, so far, so good! I will update this review if my opinion changes.

This Firesara Fabric Swim Cap is by far my favorite. It fits comfortably and works great for both long hair and short hair. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and much more comfortable than silicone caps. It keeps my long hair fully covered and dry without pulling or giving me a headache. I can easily fit all my hair inside and it stays in place during laps. It breathes well so my head does not get overheated, and it dries quickly after swimming. The one size fits almost everyone and has held up perfectly after many uses and washes. If you want a comfortable swim cap that actually works with long hair, this is the one. Highly recommend!

My daughter takes swimming lessons; she has used many different swim caps, and she usually struggles when putting them on and taking them off because she has a lot of hair—for instance, silicone caps tend to pull her hair out. In contrast, we absolutely love these Firesara Fabric Swim Caps (High Elasticity Swimming Caps); they are much easier to put on, they don't pull her hair, and they keep it securely in place. The swim cap itself is of high quality and very comfortable; however, you do need to follow the usage instructions carefully. If you position the cap with the logo facing forward, there isn't enough room to accommodate long hair. If you place the logo on the left side instead, you will find there is ample space to tuck your hair inside, and it stays put. I’ve noticed that some people expect the cap to keep their hair completely dry. This product does not promise to keep hair dry; however, in my opinion, it is a very high-quality swim cap.

The cap is very comfortable and easier to put on than Speedo but your hair is totally unprotected from water. I don't see how they claim chlorine protection when my hair is as wet as wearing no cap. I do wear a cap to keep my loose hair from ending up in the pool. Speedo caps also leak water but less so.

I have been swimming 3-4 days/week for one hour each time the last few months and my fine, thin hair was taking a beating. I can only use latex swim caps because silicone slides off my head due to how fine my hair is. Between the latex breaking hair strands and the chlorine drying out my hair, it was starting to look and feel awful. During my research to help improve the health of my hair, I learned about cloth caps. I read through so many reviews and decided to try this particular cap. Why didn’t I do this sooner?! PROTECTION: This cap is so easy to put on and it does not grip my hair, tug at my hair, or pull it out. It is also super easy to take off, with it just sliding off as you pull it. Does it prevent chlorine damage? I imagine not since it is not waterproof, but do any swim caps that are meant for swimmers? I first wet my hair in the shower, put on this cap and then a latex cap over it. Nothing moved! SIZING: I admit that I was nervous about whether it would fit me. I don’t have a huge head but I also don’t have a tiny head. I typically buy hats in a size large. With Amazon noting that this is a frequently returned item due to a small fit and many reviews stating it’s too small, it works perfectly for their child, etc. I was certain that I would need a larger size. I first purchased two caps: one size L and one size XL, fully believing I would need the XL. The large arrived first and it was HUGE! Like, I could pull it over my eyes. I ordered the normal size (indicated by not having a size identified) and it fits perfectly! The packaging does state it is for children, but it’s the right size for me. Again, I have thin hair and it’s shoulder length, so keep this in mind. With my hair wet and placed in a low bun, it fit perfectly. There is just the right amount of pressure to keep it in place and it is not too tight. THICKNESS: The thickness does not feel overwhelming. In fact, it adds just enough thickness that my cheap latex swim cap that I was ready to toss due to it being stretched out too much fit perfectly over this cap. It did not move or roll up at all. Ahhhhhh! Sweet relief! DURABILITY: I have only used it once so far so time will tell. It seems well made and I am just so excited that it does not tear apart my hair that it is worth it if it lasts me a couple of months. OVERALL: A solid, reasonably-priced purchase that will protect my hair from tugging, pulling and breakage, which is exactly what I was looking for.

This swim cap exceeded my expectations! The material feels soft, stretchy, and very comfortable without being too tight on my head. It keeps my hair protected while swimming and stays in place the entire time. I also love how lightweight and sleek it looks. Great quality for the price and perfect for both casual swimming and workouts. Highly recommend!
