Budget-friendly faucet that rivals much more expensive brands in quality, design and price.
I purchased this Phiestina faucet after scouring Amazon for highly-rated faucets that were of good quality and would not break the bank. This faucet was to replace a much more expensive Grohe faucet, also purchased on Amazon, approximately 5 years ago. The Grohe faucet started to freeze up after a year of use, making both handles really difficult to turn. Additionally, the design of the Grohe faucet made it extremely difficult to remove, given that the 2-piece lever/connection had also corroded, and would not come apart. With the 2 pieces of my Grohe faucet fused together in an L-shape that prevented its removal from my countertop, I resorted to using a Sawzall to literally cut through the pipe so I could then remove it. In my opinion, the design of the Phiestina is far superior to my previous Grohe faucet. Installation was a breeze, the lever action is super smooth, and if the faucet ever stops working, there is nothing that will prevent its removal from the countertop (in other words, I will not need to use a Sawzall for removal). The Phiestina looks elegant, the lever action is super smooth, and I'm incredibly happy with this purchase! 10/12/2024: This is a follow-up review after having used this faucet for several months. My family still loves this faucet, but we found that water tended to pool up in the wash basin if we left the water running for more than a few seconds. Once I pulled the pop-up drain cap out of the sink, the water immediately drained freely, meaning that the issue was with the pop-up cap/device itself. Sometimes it's the seemingly insignificant things that can really make or break a product. The pop-up cap certainly is a deal-breaker if you are not willing to modify it like I did with a Dremel tool. I started by cutting away at the side-wall (the frame that keeps the plug centered in your drainpipe), but that did little to increase the flow of water. I later realized that it was the 1/16" lip at the bottom of the pop-up cage that was agitating water, keeping it from flowing properly. I cut a couple of segments out with my Dremel tool, and the water instantly drains out of the basin now! This brings me to believe that the designers (or was it copied?) of this product simply did not do any field testing with it. Installing just 1 unit in a real-life situation before marketing it would have pointed out the drainage deficiency of the pop-up cap that so many consumers have reported. A consumer should NEVER have to modify a product to make it work appropriately, but that is what it took. I am now happy with the product in its modified form, but remain a little miffed over this oversight by the company. I've included pics of the modification needed to make this product drain more efficiently.

high quality!
This faucet is a best buy on amazon! It is built to last with heavy metals. Installation was quick and easy. The brushed nickel finish looks elegant, and the water flow is smooth. No leaks, no drips—just reliable performance. Great value. Highly recommended!

Slow Flow
These faucets seem well made and were nicely packaged. Other than getting my old set off, the installation of these faucets was very straight forward and not that difficult. The enclosed instructions were not very good but there are plenty of videos to watch that were helpful. I put on 2 new, flexible, waterlines to make the installation easier. The only issue I have is that the water pressure and output is half of what my old Delta faucets were. I know all of these new faucets are designed to conserve water and because it's a bathroom sink, I'm OK with it. It takes some getting used to. It puts out enough water to wash your hands and brush your teeth but it would take awhile if you wanted to fill the basin for any reason. Hot water takes a really long time.

Absolutely wonderful for the money, if you’ve done it before
Had to replace a dipping faucet that the previous owners forced the wrong valve in the cold handle (mumble mumble). Double sink, so doing 2 to match. This review is after the first install. So prewarning: I wouldn’t buy this if you don’t have faucet/plumbing experience. If you’re not the kind of person with plumbing tools, it’s probably not for you. Instructions are not helpful and not as easy as a name brand (Moen, Delta) to install. But everything is normal for a faucet and instructions aren’t necessary. That out of the way, with only a couple minor adjustments: widening the counter holes for the handles just a little, cutting down the drain pipe to fit my P trap, it was super easy to install. Muuuuch harder to remove my 1976 original than put this in. Parts are amazing quality. Not just for the price, they’re just solid period. Fit and finish is great. Love the pop-up drain for my kids. Will be easy to remove if I ever upgraded or get around to replacing the counter. It looks as great as ones I’ve paid double for, and nothing is loose, flimsy, or plastic. I’m thrilled with the purchase. Exceeded my expectations for the price. Much better than builder grade from big box hardware stores and less expensive at the time I bought it with the COVID home improvement boom jacking everything up. My caveats don’t diminish my satisfaction and the extra work has more to do with my old house than the product. Original work on my house is great (but nonstandard due to era), but nice to get yet another terrible repair job the previous owners did out of the way. Update: Have had 2 in for a few weeks and love them. No leaks or rework needed. Easy for the kids to use and I really like how they look. A totally different faucet in the house (my bathroom) is starting to crack in the plastic drain pipe where the stopper lever joins up. I installed it 8-10 years ago. I’m buying another one of these now to replace it because it has a metal drain pipe and I really like the pop-up stopper. Way sturdier then the fancier brand one installed there now.

Failed after 2 years
It's been 2 years since I installed this faucet. Have installed hundreds of faucets in 30 years of maintenance. Faucets usually last for 20 years or more easily. This is the first one I have ever had the line blow apart that is only pressured when the faucet is running ( has nothing to do with the supply lines). The plastic connector on the jumper Y that connects the hot and cold to the center spout (blew off) broke off the cold side. Granted, this is not a pressure line unless either spigot is turned on to actually run the water in the sink, but its a real hassle to install a new faucet and clean up the water under the sink after soaking everything under there.

perfect for the job
seems perfect. I needed a replacement faucet for my mom's house before we put it up for sale and I didn't want to spend a fortune. Plumber installed it quick and easy and looks great! works just fine and didn't costs hundreds, so, just what we wanted.
