Does not work with professional microphones.
You cannot use the Cubix microphone splitter with a professional microphone (e.g. Rode M3), even if the microphone is supported by your machine. If you do, when recording on a laptop you get a burst of noise every second. The problem is that the splitter seems to include active electronics. Get a passive splitter.

Item is TRRS in and TRRS out, not TRRS to TRS
It says TRRS Male to TRS Female. Jack on end of line is TRRS, but the headphone port also expects a TRRS male jack, not TRS male jack. Strange, as TRRS supports mic in same line as the audio, no need for separate mic port. Do some headphones use TRRS even with separate audio and mic jacks ? Seems very strange.

Car speakers
It did not work for me.I trued to hook my Apple phone to the speakers in my mustang speakers and it did not allow me to hear any thing thru the speakers. I used my wifeโs and I did not hear anything thru the speakers. I used her phone without the part and it works. Her phone is also an Apple phone.I used Waze for directions and it be nice to hear the directions when driving.
