What size are the softgels?

These are your typical big sized softgel caps. I can get them down but my husband has a really hard time swallowing these. I like the lemon after flavor!

are these lemon flavored?

To be honest, there is a mild lemony flavor to the capsules. I've loved the unflavored taste of cod liver oil since a child, and because of that was hesitant to buy the flavored, but went ahead and bought them because I couldn't find unflavored ones anywhere at the time. I'm glad I did because they are pleasantly flavored and taste really good to me. (If you're trying to avoid the fishy taste of naked cod liver oil, these ones won't disappoint you.P.S. I actually pierce the capsule to get the pure cod liver oil and discard the casing...have never experienced a "fishy" after taste or reflux.
