Hello Geoff,As you are putting it on, you would put it around both shoulders, then use your right hand to lay down the first strap, then use your left hand to affix the left strap to the right. It is very adjustable for your comfort and the Large size fits chest sizes 36-48 inches (Small-Medium is for 32-36 chest size). Have a great night!

Will I be able to wear this while doing a labor intensive job such as automotive technician? lift 40+lbs and reach into hard places?

I purchased brace just for that purpose you mention. It reminds you to do it in proper form. However, about over reaching, I have used it when pruning overhead, reaching overhead and carrying boxes. It stretches so you can do the job, however, you need to listen to your body. I would not do more than you can do without the brace. Use a ladder, etc. I like using it when I am on the computer. When it gets uncomfortable, I get up and take a brief walk, move around, get a drink of water. When I remove the brace, my posture is like I still have it on. I'm 5' 2'', medium shirt, 37" chest size. The medium brace is comfortable.

Can we use this for deivers they drive like 12hours ??

Hello, The Posture Corrector would be fine to wear for that period of time however it would not be recommended to do so everyday. We'd recommend doing that for 1-2 days and then having a day off for example to give your body a chance to move without it. We also ask users to use their discretion and judgement and if they feel the brace is becoming overbearing over a period of time to take it off and have a long break.
