Fabulous little camera and ideal for most situations ... Was a tad miffed to find the next upgrade available at Argos for less than £110 but these things happen ... the pre-sets are really effective too .... Great pictures and Highly recommended ....

Great Camera we are still learning what it can actually do, well worth the money, hopefully we will have this for a few years

I bought this camera to replace an ancient Coolpix 4500 which served me very well for many years, and it seems to be very good value at the price I paid, that is £136. You can't really use the camera properly without an additional SD card, but the one I salvaged from an old palm top is working well. The resolution is excellent, and I'm most impressed by the zoom. Similarly, first impressions are that the macro facility (which I need from time to time) works well too. Another notable feature is that the camera's operating system (which I haven't yet fully explored) seems to be well designed and largely intuitive. OK - it's a bit previous for me to write this review on the basis of a couple of days' experience, but, since there is, currently, only one other review of this product, I thought is was worth handing on these first, very favourable, impressions.

Never worked … never likely to work.

I looked around, amazon dont offer too much information my fault though for not checking, the camera has normal batteries, even though they have lasted some time, you could get causght out so you have to carry additional luggage to carry the batteries, also difficult to get at the card, its simple but you have to put additional stress on the pop out cover to get access due to the batteries have that spring loaded thingy bob

Camera is great really high quality pictures. Easy to use and lightweight. Only disappointment was that batteries that came with it were leaking battery acid. Contacted seller and had no response!

Très bon compromis avec cet appareil. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui il a fait de très belles photos. Je n'ai pas encore testé toutes les prises de vues mais il permet de prendre de belles photos par toute luminosité, réduction de mouvement très efficace, et surtout une très bonne prise en main. J'ai des mains très petites et mon ami des mains très grandes, nous sommes tous deux capables de le manipuler sans problème. Il n'est jamais tombé, n'a jamais glissé. Fonctionnement facile. J'étais contrariée par les piles au départ, et finalement j'apprécie ce système de chargement. Plus d'oubli du chargeur, si l'on se rencontre que la batterie s'affaiblit on peut trouver des piles presque n'importe où. Avec des piles Lithium la batterie dure très longtemps. Les photos ne sont pas de la qualité d'un réflex, mais pour le prix et l'encombrement, si vous n'êtes pas photographes mais tenez à faire de belles photos, c'est un bon investissement. Penser à inclure dans l'achat des cartes SD de grande capacité. Une cart SD de 4 Go sera pleine trop rapidement.

Die Kamera ist viel besser wie von mir erwartet. Ein hervorragendes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis. Meine Vergleichskameras: Die L820 musste sich bei mir mit folgenden Kameras messen: - Kompaktkamera Panasonic TZ31 - DSLR Nikon D3000 (mit Nikkor 18-150) - Systemkamera Sony NEX 5n (mit SEL 18-55 und Vivitar 200mm) Vergleichsergebnis: Zugegeben, die beiden Kameras mit APS-C Sensor haben natürlich Vorteile vor allem in der Bilddynamik! In der Auflösung natürlich auch, die kosten aber auch 3 x so viel. Und auffallen tut das nur in der 100% Ansicht. Ohne Vergrößerung gibt’s keine sichtbaren Unterschiede in den Bilddetails. Die L820 kann da gut mithalten. Auch bei hohen ISO-Werten! Da war ich wirklich positiv überrascht. Da ist sie besser wie die „alte“ D3000! Sie ist für mich auch klar besser wie die TZ31! Diese hat nur den Vorteil kompakter zu sein. Die Sony NEX und die DSLR haben natürlich viel mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten und können dadurch auf schwierige Verhältnisse optimal reagieren, nur muss man das auch machen… Fotografiert man im Automatik Modus sind die Unterschiede sehr gering. Die Nikon L820 macht richtig Spaß, nicht nur für Kamera Einsteiger! Einfach zu bedienen, mit einem super Zoombereich, mit hoher Qualität der Fotos und dafür sehr günstig. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen!!! Pluspunkte: + Die Bildqualität im Gesamteindruck ist sehr gut, auch bei vollem Zoom. + Gerade der Zoombereich ist richtig klasse. + Der optische Bildstabilisator funktioniert hervorragend. + Die Auflösung ist gut, Bilddetails werden detailreich abgebildet. + Bildrauschen fällt bis iso800 kaum auf und stört nur in der 100% Ansicht oder wenn man deutlich in das Bild hineinzoomt, selbst iso3200 sind noch brauchbar. + Fokussiert wird im Weitwinkel sehr schnell, bei max. Brennweite noch akzeptabel. + Sehr einfach zu handhaben + Heller und sehr guter Bildschirm + Herkömmliche Mignon Akku, die halten recht lange! + Preis / Leistung Minuspunkte: - Das Batteriefach muss behutsam verriegelt werden, am besten mit 2 Finger die Klappe gegen die Akkus bis zum Einrasten herunterdrücken. - ???

Excelente camara para inexpertos como yo. Su uso automatico deja unos excelentes resultados tanto en foto como video. No tengo que preocuparme sino de mirar mis imagenes y pulsar. Muy buen relieve y definicion en las fotos y el video es de gran realismo al reproducirlos. Total , que dentro de mi escasez de presupuesto , he obtenido a muy buen precio una camara de excelentes resultados para conservar al cien por cien de imagen real , mis mejores recuerdos de todo cuanto veo sin preocuparme de dudar de los resultados .
