This Bible is edited by DA Carson and Andrew Naselli.It is an excellent Bible, and I have given it to a number of friends.The aforementioned individuals and the various contributors have done a fantastic job with the notes. The Bible is a fairly comprehensive source of information.The only modification I would promote is a version with the ESV text rather than the NIV text. I am fine with the NIV text, but I prefer the ESV text.However, I think the reality of the publishing world would make this difficult. Usually a study bible is associated with a given version of the Bible.Don't get me wrong..I am not a KJV Only guy who thinks that the NIV is a Satanic version. In fact, I disregard those individuals, and their rhetoric has long since been discredited by digging into the facts. However, I personally would like it in the ESV version marginally better than the NIV.The version is not a big issue, though. I can read it alongside with the ESV if I desire.I would like to thank DA Carson and Andrew Naselli and the other contributors. It is a fine work.

My husband loves to evangelize and has given his Bibles away including this very one, which I gave him for his birthday this year. I inscribed it right away to hopefully deter him from giving this one away. 😉 Excellent text and resource with maps, commentaries, photos and illustrations. This is an excellent study Bible for those wanting to dive deeper into His Word.
