Velieta 24” wine fridge-179 bottle UPDATE: Contacted customer service. Lily was very helpful on assisting with our concerns. We were able to remove some racks. Keep in mind that the perfect size bottle is no bigger than 2.25 inches in diameter. END UPDATE Nice looking temperature controlled wine refrigerator. Works really well BUT the shelves are too close. They could have eliminated one shelf and spaced them out 1/4” more so the average wine bottle would fit better. We have mostly Napa Cabs, French Bordeaux, Medoc, Pauillac, and Champagne. When you pull out one shelf you have to use one hand to pull out the shelf and one hand to hold the others in. (See video) We have tried removing a shelf per the directions so that would give the bottles more space. We do not see the little “tabs” that unlock the shelf to pull it out. (See picture) We do have an email in to customer service for assistance on this.

As unlike other well-known units, this is rather a generic wine cooler, which has no brand name. Overall, it does have a good temperature control, averaging around 55° with only a 1° +/- variation. However, the spacing between shelves could be greater. I am finding slightly larger bottles of wine are interfering with the shelf above it. This causes the above shelf to also slide out when extracting the shelf you want. A 1/4” additional spacing would do the trick. Other than that, I am happy with the unit.

Died after 3 weeks. Was super heavy and hard to get into place in the basement. Which is fine. But not when it then dies completely after 3 weeks. Getting it back out will be nigh impossible. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I had this rerig for a couple of weeks, thus far I am happy although adjusting the selves require some work because of where the screws are positioned underneath the selves.

Updated: The customer service person that helped me was incredibly responsive and great so updating my review to 4 stars. The product came, not as Velieta, but as an unmarked, unnamed item. The paperwork even indicated a different company for support. It is very compact and narrowly fits the Bordeaux bottles. If you have any variations in sizes, you have to remove a shelf. Removing a shelf is NOT EASY. They send you a video on how to do it, but it isn't for this product. The shelves don't come out all the way, so you need two people to lodge a screwdriver in to lift up the lever and then hold it on one side while the other person repeats on the other side. It is too big to try to return, so I am keeping it as the temperature is consistent. But I wouldn't recommend this again.
