Question 1

how do i see a list of ingredients

Accepted Answer

Dear Ms. Sasser,Thank you for your inquiry. There is an ingredient statement on the label. Unfortunately, the specific herbs and spices are proprietary. If you are sensitive to one in particular, I can tell you if it is in our recipe. Otherwise, I cannot divulge the specifics.

Question 2

Are these a product of Italy? If not, where are they from? Thanks.

Accepted Answer

Joanne, Thank you for contacting Mooney Farms regarding our Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes! Our California Sun Dried Tomatoes are grown in the fertile agriculture rich Central Valley and dried right here in California in a state of the art drying facility and are then processed here in our facility in Chico, CA, north of Sacrament, CA. The recipe for these tomatoes is a family recipe that is rich in Mediterranean history and encompasses the Mediterranean diet. Question 3

my jar arrived with the lid loose and oil all over inside box. Is it safe to use? Is it eligible for replacement?

Accepted Answer

That's a shame. I have actually started buying my jars though Costo online. Much cheaper (less than1/2 the price) and jars have plastic sealed bands around the top.

Question 4

how long can you keep this product once the jar is opened?

Accepted Answer

Karen, Thank you so much for inquiring about the Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes. Our recommendation is that the product will maintain the freshness and red color in your refrigerator for up to six months from the date that you open the jar. Please make sure that the oil level is above the tomatoes, even if this means adding olive oil to the jar. When you are storing our product in the refrigerator, the olive oil will solidify and may form small round white beads or balls. This is a normal occurrence, prior to using the tomatoes, remove from the refrigerator all to come to room temperature and the olive oil will return to the normal state that you are familiar with. We hope that this information was helpful, please let us know if you have any further questions, we will be happy to answer them for you. Thank you,Mooney Farms
