BTFBM Womens Summer 2026 Casual Maxi Dresses

I found a dress that I absolutely love! This dress is so pretty and the design is beautiful. It fits nicely and comes in many different colors. Now that I have tried and used this dress I am going to purchase more in different colors now. It has a nice look to it that fits my body comfortably. It's long enough to cover my legs. The material is good and it seems to be sewn very well. I didn't know it had pockets, I was pleasantly surprised when I found pockets. The top part of the dress is very pretty. This dress is perfect for hot sunny days. I feel like it is very flowy and makes me feel cooler when wearing this dress on hot days. No zipper. Color is Gorgeous. Love this cute comfortable dress!

I really like the fit of this dress. The elastic waist gives it some shape without feeling tight, and the A-line skirt falls nicely without clinging to my stomach or hips. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable for summer, and the lining provides good coverage. The pockets are also functional and large enough to be useful. It's an easy dress to throw on for vacation, brunch, errands or everyday summer wear when I want to be comfortable but still look put together.

I like the dress, it's actually cut the way it shows, not an example of "full skirted in the photo and barely A-line in reality." Color is true (I got the teal) pattern is more noticeable than the photo shows, which I liked. It runs small. I wanted it a little loose for summer, so I got large, but that turned out to be pretty fitted. Big enough in shoulder, bust and arms, but the "waist" (which is an empire waist) was on the snug side. It lands just at my lower calf, maybe 4-5 inches above the ground on me and I'm on the taller side (5'8"); it would probably be a long dress for women under 5'4". Liner is soft and not too tight, comes to mid thigh. Appears to contain actual cotton, which any more is miraculous. Casual, comfy, looks nice, got compliments. Easy to wear; good summer dress.

This dress is very comfortable, and flattering. It's lined, so you don't have to worry that it will become see-through in the wrong lighting. No zippers to worry about either. AND it has pockets. I may even end up buying another one in a different color. I'm 5'3" and 182 lbs, and the dress fits very well (XL). However, if you're much shorter than me, it might be too long, the skirt is ankle length on me. So that's something to keep in mind.

This is a beautiful cotton dress....that is until you put it on and get encased in POLYESTER! I think that most people would buy this dress for the fact that is advertised as a light and breezy cotton summer dress. Why in the world would they decide to ruin it and add the enormous amount of polyester lining?? The entire dress is lined with the polyester on the inside and when you put it on, all you'll feel is sticky hot plastic. It completelly undoes the outside cotton fabric and feel. Initially I thought I could just cut out the lining and wear it without, but it has the see-through lines and design on it so it would be tough to wear without showing some skin underneath. So I ended up returning this one. Other than the polyester issue, the dress is well made, beautiful true (as in pics) green color, good length for my 5"8 frame. Sleeves are nice length, they sit flat, and arm openings are right size where they don't show the undergarments but they don't suffocate either. Also the waist is not too tight and it makes it comfortable to wear. This is a particularly flattering fit for apple shape bodies if you get the right size. I did size up on mine because I wanted more room in the chest and that was a good choice. I really wanted to like and keep this dress for all the above reasons hence the 3 stars, but unfortunately just can't come to terms with the ugly lining. If this was just a plain cotton fabric on the outside without the see-through lines, it could have been worn without the lining and would have been really versatile beautiful summer dress.

Purchased Large. I’m 5’5 / 140 lbs / (38C) Wore to my son’s college event -in the July extreme heat in south GA !! It was cool & comfortable! The few wrinkles it arrived with fell out easily w/Wrinkle Releaser. Lightweight. Made well. Has pockets ! Fell a few inches above my ankles (in flats) My daughter also tried it on & loved it (she’s 5’9 / 165 / 34 A) it looked great on her. I also ordered the wine color in a medium. Haven’t tried it on yet (will prob. Return it or give it to my dtr). The Large fits great ! But, I think the Med. Will be too snug in the chest for me (I don’t like my clothes snug / form fitted) I’ll post pics if I keep it

Love this dress! It's hard for me to find dresses that are modest but don't feel matronly and this dress is perfect! I've worn these dresses to work, family events, and holidays and get non stop compliments. The fit is incredible and I love the fabric and the pockets. I'm typically a size 16, 46 35 47 40DD, and the XL fits me perfectly. I like this dress so much I also own the orange brown color and just ordered the shorter version too. I'm 5'4 and it's definitely maxi length on me, but I don't mind since I find midi length can make me look shorter sometimes.

I was in the market for looking for a nice summer style dress that was light fitting, flowing, and all around just good for the summer. I ordered this dress and fell in love. It has a slip type material already sewn into the material not having to worry about having to buy a slip to wear under. It is not see through so that is a definite plus. The reason I have a 4 star review that although it is beautiful and everything I wanted according to the size it states I should wear is where the elastic waist falls and sits on me as opposed to others I saw in the pictures. I feel the waist falls just under my breasts as to some of the pictures it looks like it falls exactly on the waistline? But they don’t mention it. Then there are other pictures that look like it falls exactly under the breasts so I’m not exactly sure how it is truly supposed to look as it drapes on the body. I can only say how it fits me. It is flowing which I love. The coloring is perfect between an apricot and beige color great for maybe an outdoor summer wedding, a picnic in the park, window shopping, a day in the vineyard. Just beautiful. I do plan to keep it and just carry a sweater with me if I need on if I’m indoors at a movie or something. Maybe the next size up would I’m not sure if maybe it’s just because of the way they are made, but like I said I’ll keep it.

Excellent fit and flattering for my size & body type, (broad-shouldered Pear-shape with B-shaped abdominals). I appreciate the tall elasticised waistband, that is gathered in the exact same construction of the Midcentury Neo-Folk style dresses. Note that, because of this waist type, (as opposed to a belted dress): when reaching up, the robe will slide along the body a little and stay there until corrected; simply give a light tug at the hips to return its posture to original placement. If wearing the dress with an apron for housework or even just for nostalgia, note that one which uses a securely affixed waistband that ties might prevent a small amount of sliding; I make no promises, but you can try it. If you plan for sure to pair this dress with an apron regularly, (ex. grocery shopping, operating a small retail business at a shoppe or farmer's market, parenting and childcare, professional wear in a less digitised office, working as a tailor or in an aspect of design & decoration, working in Cosmetology), you can add belt loops for keeping apron ties in place. Measurements are as indicated in the provided info. Colour in person exactly matched garment demonstration image. My purchase was of the medium primary Green, which has bold colour saturation. (Fashion Retail & Textile Arts note: original Kelly Green, as opposed to 1980s version). Exterior material texture is soft. Pleasant to the touch, which I consider aesthetically important. Would wear at least biweekly, if not weekly. Interior lining is a very smooth, tightly-woven, dense fine-thread poly. The lining will keep the exterior material from catching or hooking onto any small aspects of the wearer's body or undergarments. It should also keep any of the undergarment construction or texture from creating an impression through the 2 layers of dress fabric. Sewn very well - I am extremely impressed. No rough or unfinished work in the cutting & placement of the fabric, the stitching or fine details of manufacturing. Thoroughly professional work. My great compliments to the Tailor/-ing team. 🪻☘️💎🍀🪻 I am making a 2nd purchase in another colour, as well as purchasing a nearly identical one which has different sleeve and neck type. A wonderful find, to update my wardrobe with. This was money very well-spent and would make for a fine gift to oneself or another.

This dress is beautiful. I'm surprised by the quality and the fit. I've recently lost weight and normally take a Large but I kept getting prompted to order an XL and I'm glad I did. It's such a nice dress for the spring and summer; the length is perfect and it has pockets! The yellow colour isn't too vibrant and is just the right shade I was looking for. I would describe the colour as muted marigold. An excellent impulse purchase. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear it. ☺️ Edit: I recently purchased a 100% cotton dress from Quince for over $100 and the dress is identical to this dress except for the material and print. It’s too late to return the $100+ dress. I prefer the dress from Amazon!
