Saw this being used on numerous fishing shows so decided to give it a shot. I never run full spools of any new yearly line on any rods (spinning or casting) instead I leave about 80 to 100 yds of old line to use as a backing and save $$$. This smackdown performed flawlessly. Its super sensitive and super smooth. Actually found myself wanting to use it all day which in itself say alot as the other 14 rods in the boat (not spooled with seaguar) sat idle. Fish after fish (a mix of smallies and walleye) came into the boat without issue. I did have a 7 foot leader of mono tied to this. Upon setting the hook on yet another fish it didn't take long (2 seconds) to realize I had something BIG on the other end. 25 minutes later and I was sliding my hands (carefully and skillfully) into the gillplate of a 45 inch Northern Wisco. Musky. This line is insane. The only thing negative I can add is that after a summer of fishing it did loose its color. Not completely but definitely noticeable.

I fish for crappie in brush piles mostly and I had several line breaks yesterday while using this product. On a positive note, the line has very low memory, is very sensitive, and the hi-visibility on the water was awesome.

By far my favorite line. I have used there line for less than a year but it has become my favorite brand and since have switched all my rods to seaguar brand, floro is great as well. This hi vis has the best visibility with polarized glasses that I've seen.
