Good switch, but cable sensitive
It switches nicely with a new cable directly connected to TV, but it does have some cable compatibility issues. I wasn't getting a picture through a cable I already had in the wall, but another switch works fine with that cable, so I can only deduce that either this switch has a hdmi port that doesn't like the existing cable or the existing cable's resistance is a little too high and incompatible with this switch because the signal is not amplified enough? no idea, unfortunately had to return simply because the existing cable works with another brand 3x1 switch and obviously hiring a builder to rip out the existing wire from the wall then replace then replaster then repaint is a little overkill, think I'll stick to my existing 3x1 switch. Remember if you have problems, try different cables, all these types of switches tend to be cable sensitive, no one cable seems to work perfectly with 48gbps switches, even optical, its the tolerances to blame, tooo many variables, looking forward to the day all connections are pure optical fiber, no copper conversion whatsoever, Amazon will probably never have a single HDMI glitch related return ever again.

Nice, compact, EArc capable, EDID adjustable
I specifically use this for a projector with a soundbar. This switcher’s input functions are basically what you’d find on modernized TVs. These are the inputs/outputs: In: 3 Hdmi, 1 Hdmi E-ARC Out (to the projector’s hdmi input) 1 Hdmi E-ARC I have a Playstation 5/Firestick hooked up with 2 of the inputs on the switcher. It does have an auto switch function (works pretty good) and you have the ability to remotely and manually switch (also works pretty good). It might take some getting used to but once you have it down, it works fantastic. I can also confirm that Dolby Atmos can be transmitted through this switch. There is an EDID function you can adjust if you have handshake issues between your devices. Specifically for my setup, I was hoping to achieve Dolby Atmos from the firestick. It did not detect Atmos initially. I had to adjust the EDID from the default 1-1-1 to 1-1-0 with a power cycle, and viola, works like a charm now. Super satisfied. If you’re debating, do some research with its functions and decide what your ultimate goal is, try it out, if it’s not on par with your goal, return it within amazons return policy date.

Solid little switch
Switching works well. As an actively powered switch, there is no signal dropping, flickering, or noise glitches unlike cheaper unpowered switches. When you have multiple powered up devices plugged in, if you turn off the device you have the switch set to, the switch will detect the signal loss and automatically switch to the next available device propagating a sending a signal. For instance, if I turn off my Nintendo on input 1, the screen refreshes immediately to the powered on computer on input 2. This is a handy feature for me. The remote control is small. It feels reasonably well constructed and appears to have no problems communicating with the switch which, in my case, sits behind the TV, a little bit obscured from direct line of sight; so that’s good. I haven’t used the ARC extraction function, so I have nothing to say about that.

Perfect
This device is excellent. I wanted to use an unused Samsung soundbar with my new triple monitor setup. I had 3 gaming consoles and wanted them all connected to only the 4K HD monitor while I use the other two monitors for my work using the laptop. This device made me connect my PS5, Steam Deck, and Nintendo Switch 2 and receive full 4K 120Hz with HDR, VRR and ALLM on my monitor while receiving perfect sound from my soundbar through an optical cable. I couldn’t get the PS5 to show output info as 4K 120Hz until I ran Monster Hunter Wilds. You must be running a game that supports 120Hz if you want to make sure such devices work! Thank you for creating such a niche product that delivers exactly what it promises. I read that some of these devices fail to deliver the specs they advertise.
