What does the wrist strap attach to?

It attaches to the top and bottom of the grip, BUT the strap buckles slip. After I have it adjusted correctly I wrap the buckles in a little electrical tape to “lock” it tightly. I absolutely love the strap for holding my iPhone while walking, just like my DSLR.
