Al dente texture, wonderful subtle smoked flavor. The aftertaste is exquisite...with hints of clam and mussel, I love it. Fillets aren't always continuous, and I see that pieces are overlapped to make one whole fillet. This is why the price is less than other brands. At least the meat is of high quality.

Still some of the best tinned canned herring fish snack on the market.
Been snacking on tinned kippered fish for decades, Brunswick has never let me down. All of them have always been great, as a lone snack or with crackers or a side of rice. Good stuff and still a good deal when you shop around. Have tried many other brands and Brunswick has always been the cleanest in rich flavor and without bones.
