Diabetes-friendly hot chocolate
I was looking for a rich, thick, good-tasting hot chocolate that would still be workable for someone with Type 2 diabetes. That’s easier said than done. After a fair bit of research, I landed on this mix. Straight out of the can, I’ll be honest—it was disappointing. Thin, not very indulgent, and definitely not what I was hoping for. I was close to regretting the purchase. That said, this mix turned out to be a very good base. With some experimenting, I found that adding powdered skim milk and monk fruit sweetener completely changed it. My process is to blend everything thoroughly, let it sit for a few minutes, then blend again. The result is a much richer, smoother hot chocolate that actually feels decadent. The exact ratios will come down to personal taste, but equal parts of the mix, powdered skim milk, and sweetener is a solid starting point. After dialling it in, I genuinely enjoy this now. It has a proper dark chocolate profile and doesn’t taste like a cheap milk-chocolate mix, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Bottom line: not great on its own, but if you’re willing to tweak it, this becomes a very satisfying, diabetes-friendly hot chocolate that I’ll keep using.

Low calorie chocolate fix
This is pretty decent as an ultra low sugar alternative. I have been making it with unsweetened almond milk which is 30 calories a serving, plus the 40 calories for this coco brings it to a 70 calorie treat. I find I can even dilute it with additional hot water and it is still a pretty good chocolate fix. Does it taste like real hot chocolate made with sugar - no. You can definitely taste the stevia and monk fruit. However it is decently chocolaty and does satisfy that craving for some warm coco on a cold day with minimal calories, a good dose of chocolate antioxidant, and whatever extra protein and vitamins you get from your choice of milk. Overall, it is just what it claims to be and I will buy it again.

Good taste. A bit sweet.
The taste is just fine if you have sweet tooth. Dissolve well in hot water (less so in cold milk).

A good sugar free option but very rich
My grandma can't have sugar so this was a must to try so she had something new, she said the chocolate was really rich but she fould it tasted too sweet for her taste buds. The quality itself was good and she would recommend, just for her personally it didn't work out.

Didn’t taste right compared to before
I bought this product previously and it tasted really good but I recently bought it again after a few months and they must have changed the formula because it didn’t taste right almost chemically
