Hello! A very good question. The amount of you would feed your pet is based on how much they weight! On the bottle is shows a chart that certain weight ranges get certain amounts. 1-15lbs get 1/2pump or 1/4 teaspoon. 16-25lbs get one pump or 1/2 teaspoon. 26-50lbs get two pumps or 1 teaspoon. 50-75lb get 3 pumps which is 1.5 teaspoons and 76lbs and over get 4 pumps which is 2 teaspoons of Salmon oil in their food. For the first 3-5 days on salmon oil, we recommend the pet get's half their dose range as they get used to getting salmon oil in their food to avoid an upset belly. I hope this helps!
