CLOUDLINE PRO T10 Silent 10" Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity Controller Heating and Cooling Fan Promotes Cooling Growing Tent Hydroponics

Gewaltig Power!

This product works as advertised: it's pretty easy to install, has a good controller, and is reasonably quiet at the lower 2-4 speeds (a bit too loud at high speeds, but that level of power isn’t necessary anyway). But be aware of limitations if you are considering a duct fan: 1) When the fan is off, it actually significantly restricts the flow of air though the duct. I wanted to use it for air conditioning routed upstairs, but not for heat (I get plenty upstairs!). So in the winter, it's off and it restricts flow, which is OK for me, but may not be in your situation. 2) If the controller becomes unplugged, the fan just goes into max speed mode, very strange and unfortunate. It should just stay off. 3) For me, I wanted it to come on only during air conditioning, but it turns out this is difficult with a temperature probe because when the AC is on, the temp isn't too different than the ambient temp at night, so it can come on then too. And then of course in the winter, I have to turn it off. I kind of think I just need to wire it to my furnace and have it come on whenever the AC mode is actively running and dispense with the temp probe. However it doesn’t have any documented method of doing this, I may have to engineer my own solution. If they provided two temperature probes so it can come on based on a differential temperature (inside the duct is 10 degrees lower than outside for instance), that would be much superior, or provide a way to wire directly to the furnace “AC active” trigger. If these limitations aren’t important to you, then this is a fine product.

This the second AC Invinity T10 I have bought and is one of the best products I have ever seen or bought. The first attic fan worked so good, I decided to add a second fan to move even more air. These fans are quiet and move a lot of air. The fact that it has a controller to allow automatic on and off functions makes it perfect for the application it is being used for. Now I have a spare controller, since the second fan is being controlled by the first controller that came with the first fan. Each controller has the ability to control two T10's. Incredible high quality packing. You know the product is going to be great when you see the packing. Fan has 10 speeds to choose from and the controller "ramps" the speed up and down when the fan motor is turned on. Very COOL. My unit has no vibration at any speed. When you put your hand on the main housing, you can hardly tell the fan is running other than the fact that you are moving a lot of air and you can hear that when running at higher speed. At lower speeds, the fan is super super quiet. Will be looking at other products made by AC-Infinity. Hummmm. Love these products to much, maybe a third T10 will be coming soon.

I use this in my attic to draw air from outside through the eaves and exhaust it through a roof vent. The old fan died and was a piece of junk. Electrician wanted $120 for another replacement junk fan and $250 to replace it. I instead took out the old fan and ran the t10 exhaust up to the roof exhaust and mounted it in the old fan housing. The tstat is set to 110f so everytime the roof heats up I am pulling out the hot attic air. I use a medium setting because I worry the pressure could become so great that it pulls hvac from my second story up into the attic, dont want that. It helped tremendously this summer. Normally the upstairs hvac struggles to maintain 70f, it held 70f this summer with ease. I have a roof vent and the ceiling is 12-14’ tall with 6” round eave vents spaced 14” all the way around the perimeter. If you have a properly vented attic, this solution can work for you. Just remember the attic will never get cooler than outside ambient, but it beats the heck out of the 130-150f trmps I was getting before the fan install. It was so hot the sap was weeping from the pine trusses! This thing was worth every penny and will last forever.

I’m using it as attic fans. It is good sucker. Noise levels is high, turbo sound. Also, software control is not simple. It need to improve. While running in advanced or AI mode, you can’t manually off or on with one touch. It need to delete AI mode or turn off the advanced mode and then turn manually. It is expensive .
