Hi, The Datasheet specifies compatibility with the following operating systems: Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/Server 2012/Server 2008R2 Windows CE (6/7) depending on hardware Linux Debian 6.0+ / Ubuntu 11.04+/ Fedora 15+; Open SUSE 11.4+ Mac OS X; Android™ Windows 11 is not specified but I would expect readers compatible with Windows 10 to maintain this functionality into Windows 11.

It really depends what card are you trying to read. Try searching for software for your smart card type. Or check with card issuer what software to use.

is there any software to allow me to logon to windows/ Mac?

It should self-install drivers when you plug it into an online computer. There was no hassle in my experience with a PC. I used Horizon client to read the card, because that's my organisation's policy. Just ask the IT service ay your workplace, if that applies.
