I bought this mainly because I wanted something I could use every day that wasn’t just a basic lip balm, but actually offered some protection as well. The SPF 15 was the main reason I chose it, as I’m outdoors quite a bit and it’s easy to forget your lips need sun protection too. First impressions were good. The tube is small and sturdy with a secure lid, so it doesn’t come loose in your bag or pocket. It’s compact enough to carry around without even thinking about it. The texture is thicker than a typical stick balm – more like a soft ointment – but it spreads easily and doesn’t feel sticky. It has that slightly medicated, menthol-type scent that Blistex is known for, which gives a mild cooling sensation when applied. I actually quite like that because it feels soothing, especially if your lips are already dry or slightly sore. In terms of performance, it does exactly what I want from a daily lip product. It keeps my lips smooth and prevents them from getting chapped in cold weather, but it’s also protective enough for windy or sunny days. The SPF gives peace of mind without feeling heavy or leaving a white cast. It lasts a reasonable amount of time before needing to be reapplied, and it doesn’t seem to dry my lips out like some balms can if you overuse them. If anything, my lips feel softer the more consistently I use it. Price-wise, it sits slightly above very basic supermarket balms, but you’re getting conditioning ingredients and sun protection in one product. For something I use every day, I think it’s fair value. Overall, a reliable, protective lip conditioner that works well in both winter and sunnier months. It’s one of those products I’m happy to keep repurchasing because it just quietly does its job without fuss.

Immer wieder das beste Blistex. Habe ich bisher nur in Österreich in Drogerien gefunden und bin froh, es online bestellen zu können. Entgegen von Blistex aus der Tube "schmeckt" es deutlich weniger chemisch, ist cremiger und hält viel viel länger. Entgegen von Labello etc. führt es nicht zur Austrocknung, was diese Stifte leider mit sich bringen und so zu einer gewissen "Abhängigkeit" führen. Das ist mit dieser Version von Blistex absolut gar nicht der Fall. Schön fände ich, wenn es auch in Tuben zu kaufen wäre, weil die Applikation dadurch hygienischer wäre.
