Is this product ok to use on ceramic molds? If so, should it be fired before use?

No, Kiln Wash is for kiln shelves. Ceramic molds are usually made of plaster and should not be fired in a kiln.

What is the difference between the liquid & dry versions, aside from the obvious?

Does anyone know the coverage for shelf wash?

If you’re asking how many shelves you can cover with one jar, it depends how you use it, but I’ve personally been able to wash 8 half shelves for a 7cu ft kiln.
