It works well for a cheapy mandolin. It has a bunch of attachments which is great. The thin slicer could be a little thinner. I bought it to slice ginger for pickling and i wish it sliced a little thinner. it does save time vs a knife if i have a lot to slice up.

Not always sharp enough. Some blades are too hard to use with tough food. Like a carrot. I only weigh 230 but had trouble with the double julianne. Single was okay for a carrot and an apple. Nice 3 mm potato slices.

Works good and I haven't cut my fingers with this one.

This is not safe. The safety guard’s diameter is not big enough to fit apples, onions, eggplant, yellow squash, and some potatoes so the product is not versatile enough unless you want to go without the guard. I would not recommend that though, because the blades are so dull that you force your way through the cut - that dramatically increases the risk of slip ups and injuries even with the guard. The mincing attachment is completely cheap plastic and will not last. The silicon grippers slid right out while using it, making even the basic set up unsteady. I packed it up without even finishing my meal prep due to the products extremely low quality, small diameter, safety hazards, and clunkiness. Splurge and throw in an extra $10 for a functional one.

Don’t really recommend pretty hard on fingernails

I love kitchen gadgets and this one has been the best so far. I've got more elaborate mandolin but this is the go to on a daily basis. I've got the one with additional blades. They are so easy to change and clean. I love it most for shredded daikon and carrots. So fast and easy. Buy gloves for sharp tools. Helps a lot to keep skin cuts

It took a while to figure out how to change the blades. They need to include better instructions.
