Do not use a drill that has higher RPM'S then this tool is rated for.
The item worked well. It performed as it should. The hook and loop surface that held the pads on was amazing! The pad stayed on so tight. It was actually hard to peel the pad off when I was done using it so I could rent it for a future use. This is very important because you don't want it to slip while you're spinning it on the drill. It was a very good product for the price.I paid especially!

Worked well spins straight. Good value
Hook and loop on the surface worked well. Spins straight and even at high speed. Inexpensive. I was satisfied and it did the job well.

They work well for the price.
For what it is, this is a great little product. Held my buffing pads on at some pretty high RPMs. Really all I can ask for. It doesn't seem well built, but if it broke I'd just get another one. It's kind of small, but it solidly held on to some of my larger pads. I would not use these for larger buffing projects, I don't know they would last very long. If you're the kind of person that wants to buy a tool once, these probably are not for you.If you're a hobbyist like myself, they're great.

Worked as promised
Had some scratches on my windshield after a very tough New England winter. Some small rocks or salt got trapped under my wipers after a storm. Scratches ran right across driver's side view so very annoying as well as a potential safety hazard. I called my insurance company and they wouldn't replace the glass. I looked on Amazon for a solution and came across a few products. Purchased the Cerium Oxide, Velcro Backing Pad and Griot's Garage Pads for my drill. I was skeptical at first but gave it a try - it worked very well! You need to be a little patient however. Keep a spray bottle of water handy to keep the polish moist as you'll need to keep working the scratches. There are YouTube videos out there to check out first. I'm a believer and would recommend to others.

This Velcro back plate is NOT 3". It is 2". False advertising. See attached picture for yourself.
On the left is the back of the meguirs (3") finishing pad. And the right is this doohickey. It is not 3"; but 2". Don't waste your $$ unless this is what you're looking for. Don't say I didn't warn you. I guess you can get it to work. Velcro is about a 7/10 strength together. I'll look around for a 3". If not them maybe I'll keep it or return it. 🤷.

Good stuff
Dogs scratched my sliding doors to the deck. DEEP scratches, like 165lb dog deep! 15 minutes slow speed on my variable speed drill and scratches are gone. Glass is like new. Use minimal H2O on your pad at low speed or you'll be cleaning up a big slurry mess.

PATIENCE!
I trued to remove dye and colored oil stains from large convex glass plates with every cleaning agent possible. Barkeepers Friend, Comet, paint thinner, lacquer thinner, nail polish remover, 94% alcohol, and even Zip Strip paint and Varnish remover! All the items above when used totally got about 60% of the stain off. If you don't get it all off the plates are useless!I gambled and spent about $100.00 for a bottle of 3M 60150 Glass Polishing Compound, a small bag of Griot's 3" Glass Polishing Pads, and the pad holder- spindle to fit my small battery drill chuck.I put 3 or 4 drops of polish on the glass stain area, sprayed a little water on it and ran the pad in both directions with modest pressure for about 2 minutes, washed it off, reapplied and repeated 2 more minutes. The stain was totally gone!!Clear as new! I was amazed! Many thanks for this product and You Tube instructional videos that guided me to do the right thing.Jerry SiegristKalkaska, Mi.
