I used this balanced fert while seeding rye on a large backyard renovation in progress. The ryegrass was just for getting cover and roots in the ground until temps warm up and I can plug zoysia for my permanent lawn. I spread the fert and then cultivated this and several other ‘test areas’ before seeding to get absorption into the seed bed and then watered it all in. I had germination in a week and 3-4” tall rye within 15 days. The photo doesn’t do it justice because my first cut was yesterday. I got great results and the rye is a rich dark green. I seeded at 2x so it’s nice and thick too.
