I got 2 pink and 2 purple candles instead of the 3 purple and 1 pink required for Advent. Did not need to open the box. The contents can be seen right through the box window cutout just above where it says: Contains 3 purple candles and 1 pink candle. Was the quality control inspector not paying attention? I have reached out to the distributor. Will change my rating depending on how they rectify this issue.

The candles were true to color but they came wrapped in bubble wrap without a box as pictured and one was broken. This is false advertising to me. I bought the candles to be part of a gift and wanted them in a box. The ad should say comes without box pictured.

These candles arrived in good condition and were packaged as shown. The colors were as pictured. I purchased them because of the excellent price; however, in this case, you get what you pay for and the value is seriously lacking. The candles burned so fast that they did not last through Advent, which was less than 4 weeks this year (2019). I realize that these are NOT dripless candles, but they dripped significantly more than other candles and made a mess each time they were lit. I've never had to clean so much wax off of my wreath before. We used them, but I will not order this brand again. I will pay more to get candles with a higher quality wax so that they will burn longer and last through the season.

These candles are going to work well for advent in a few months. I'm just a single guy so I don't need full-sized taper candles. My only complaint is that I wish they were thinner so that they would fit in the chime candle holders that I already have, but that's just me nitpicking. The description was accurate and the candles arrived packaged well. They were shipped in a box in an envelope, but they weren't broken or crushed on arrival. I received three purple candles and one pink. I would definitely buy them again. I'll have to wait until I actually use them to know how quickly they burn.

The only reason I gave this 1 star, was so I could leave a comment. The candles were not in the original box and ALL if them were broken. No point in putting up the advent wreath this year. Very disappointed!

These candles met expectations and then some. They had a nice, slow, even burn with minimal drips. In fact, they really didn't drip until they got to the last few inches. This is always good, as with some candles, I sometimes find myself trying to ration the burn time so that the first candle isn't gone by the time we light the fourth. That wasn't an issue with this set. I also appreciate the nice, rich colors. I've ordered some Advent candles in the past that show up lavender and powder pink as opposed to royal purple and rose. I would recommend these to those who use Advent wreaths every year; and I will likely buy this brand again next Christmas.

Probably dangerous to use 2 of the 4 candles. 2 purple candles are fine. 2 candles (the pink and one purple) sit very crooked - box is upright for comparison. Pink is both not straight along the length of the candle (warped) and misshapen at the bottom, purple (back right) is misshapen at the bottom. We'll have to burn one of the straight ones tomorrow and then buy replacements in person, as I won't risk this happening again! Also, the box is not as advertised.

These are the same kind of Advent candles I use every year. I buy them because they are inexpensive and come in the shades of pink and purple that i prefer. They are not the highest quality of candles as far as longevity but I only need them for 4 weeks and I don't want to spend a fortune for them. They burn evenly, and don't make a wax mess. I could find 4 tapers cheaper somewhere but not in the Advent colors, so I am quite happy with this purchase. Also, free one-day shipping was great.

The candles were good and they met my expectation. However, they were not properly packed into the box which was partially torn.
