Classy case (but it’s plastic) and it’s refillable too. The puff is provided inside, makes for a very even spread, and the mesh over the powder dispenses just the right amount to cover a quarter of the face. Feels very matte and smooth on the skin and the blurring effect is good (a little less than an actual primer) The only drawback is that it’s not for dry skin folks; the powder leaves a white cast if applied generously and it accentuates the dry texture of skin. I would advise to wear this after using a moisturiser. Won’t last all day, maybe 2 hours, but that wasn’t a priority for me, so I like it.

When recommended this product by a friend, I was skeptical. It worked so well and has become a daily part of my routine. It magically blurs out the pores and gets rid of oil instantly. Would very much recommend this to be in everyone's make up bag.

Mrs K here: after a lot of back and forth with myself I decided to try this Laneige powder. During the Chicago winters I don't use much powder (52 year old, very dry, post menopausal skin) apart from an afternoon touch up on my nose. In every other month my skin goes full combination (yet remains dry, with all sorts of challenges). I do use powder to set my BB cream, and I've tried so many. This is a really exceptional powder. While I think the sort of Sputnik 60s retro/futuristic compact is almost too much, it's cute, and would look cute on a vanity, if that's your thing. I don't really care about the look of it. The silicone "mesh" inside the compact is pretty slick; the included powder puff is as soft as a kitten's fuzz, and again, secondary to the product itself, though quite nice. The powder is very, very finely milled, and whether applied with the puff, a mini triangle or a brush, only a tiny bit is needed to set your look or to touch up, and it vanishes into the skin. It absorbs excess oils and leaves my skin feeling like actual silk. It lasts for what seems like forever (I went to the gym and did a lot of cooking and other active stuff on a hot day, and I wasn't shiny when I got home, neither did my skin look flat or one-dimensional). Because so little powder is required to buff my skin I expect it to last for months and months; it's not irritating or drying, and I can't believe that I could love a powder at this age, but I do. It also gives that desired airbrushed effect; I feel like I'm walking around in good lighting. Just a really delightful and pleasant product that does what it claims to do, and very well. I recommend it highly.

I’ve been using this blurring powder daily and it’s quickly become one of my go‑to makeup items. The texture is very finely milled and blends into my skin without looking heavy or cakey — it just gives a soft, blurred finish that helps makeup look more polished and natural. One of the biggest benefits for me is how well it controls oil and shine throughout the day. Even in warmer weather, it helps keep my T‑zone matte without completely flattening my skin’s natural glow. It also minimizes the look of pores and texture, so my complexion looks smoother overall. The compact is really handy for on‑the‑go touch‑ups — the no‑spill design and included puff make it easy to apply without mess, even when I’m traveling or in a rush. However, the amount of product isn’t huge, so it might feel small if you use it daily, and there’s a small learning curve to getting just the right amount released from the dispenser. Overall, if you want a lightweight setting powder that controls oil, blurs imperfections, and feels comfortable all day, this is definitely worth considering. It’s especially great for oily or combination skin, but still gentle enough that it doesn’t dry out the face.

I was skeptical trying yet another powder. I was afraid that this would be just another product that promises without delivery of results. But I gotta tell ya, this product more than delivered! I wear this without any primer or foundation. And I only wear a tiny bit of concealer and feel like the result is much more even than the full face of makeup. Yes, you have to touch your face up more often if you live in humidity. However, it doesn’t feel like it makes your face more oily! It does actually seem like it absorbed some oil and the pores look more relaxed. I have not tried this with my Elta Md tinted sunscreen. Honestly, it just depends on what you need and where you are wearing it, and what you are wearing it with (as with any makeup). I love wearing this at home right after washing my face and/or spraying some hypochlorous acid formulated for the face. I don’t think I will wear it over my sunblock, but I did appreciate how a little bit of concealer went on when applied over the powder already on my nose. (I’m using NARS Soft Matte concealer.) I wouldn’t wear this over my sunblock because my sunblock is oily. And because the powder pouf is sooo soft! I’ve never had any powder include a pouff like this and I wouldn’t want to dirty this one with other formulas. The design of this compact is also really great. I love how there’s a feature to prevent spillage and release fine, loose powder onto only the pouf. And inside the compact is a section that separates and holds the pouf, but keeps the rest of the powder contained while allowing you to open the compact to use the mirror and never have a messy surprise! I will post pictures later and update beyond that, if necessary. LOVE this brand!
