トレーニング用兼フロアマットとして購入。 インテリアとしてのデザイン性も兼ね備えていて大変良いです。 箱から出して床に敷くと、丸まることなくすぐ使用可能な状態に。 グリップがしっかりしていて、運動にもリラックスタイムにも適したクッション性なので、日常のあらゆるシーンで活躍してくれそうです。

I have been doing more Yoga of late and thought I would invest in a nicer mat. This one had good reviews and was a bit more expensive so I assumed the quality was higher than my cheap mat. This mat however is not better. It has a very plastic feel to it and when your hands become a bit sweaty they slid along the mat. I was hoping this would correct itself over time as the mat became warn, but weeks later and daily use it has not. I cant recommend this product.

I bought this mat on sale at Target in March. They no longer carry it. The pattern design lets you put your hands and feet in perfect placement for poses. From downward facing dog to Bikram triangle to warrior pose to side plank pose...etc. The 5 mm is the perfect amount of cushioning. I had a 3mm and my knees and back hurt on the wooden floor. I am 5'4" and when I do my wide leg forward bend, my feet are half off the ends of the mat, it would be nice if it was a bit longer. I bought another mat today,since I do an hour of Yoga everyday.I want to have another one ,just in case they don't make this design anymore. BEST YOGA MAT EVER !!! I bought the TAOS ALIGNMENT MAT IN DARK PURPLE 5mm thick. The diamonds pattern on both top and bottom of mat, make you do the poses in the correct positions. I look into the mirror to align a pose and then I know where to place my hands and feet every time. My hands and feet do not slip on the mat, and I do an hour every morning .

I had a Gaiam mat that I loved for over ten years. When it started wearing out, I decided to replace it with the same brand thinking it’d be the same quality. Many reviewers talked about how slippery this mat was, but I didn’t listen and bought it any way. They were right. It’s slippery. I’ve now had this mat for almost 5 years and it’s still slippery. I’ve tried every Google search suggestion out there to make it sticky and I still slide in downward dog. I’ve discovered that the non decorative side isn’t as bad, but still. It’s hard to get into a good stretch when your hands are slowly sliding away from you. Having said that, this mat is great if you don’t need stickiness. The thickness is great and it’s comfortable to stand, kneel, and lay on.

This is beautiful and practical. I use it on top of the class mats for extra thickness.

Ummmm... HELLO. This mat is awesome. The cushioning is perfect for my weak wrists. The design is perfect for a beginner yoga student that wants to look like she knows what she is doing. So what if sometimes I lose balance? HAVE YOU SEEN MY MAT?! Classmates be so jelly. The one I purchased was in the Sage Lily print. I matched that with a hot pink Clever Yoga Strap (look it up, it rocks). I look like I'm carrying a tasty watermelon over my shoulder to class, but then I unravel. The room gasps. I float away blissfully... cushioned by my own little lily pad of yoga... amidst an ocean of sweaty spandex and crusty feet. I pose serenely on my mat, smiling kindly like the Dalai Lama at all of the others because my mat is awesome and was the best investment a beginner yogi could make. So zen. So me. Namaste.

This matt is fabulous! It has a little extra cushion. I had the same one for about five years and loved it so much had to buy it again. I would highly recommend this matt for anyone who loves yoga!
