The air unit I received when requested to review is not the same as the one currently listed. The unit I received is a very basic unit that gets the job done for cooling a small room. Not really anything special about it, which is perfectly fine. The unit listed now seems to be modernized and is more expensive than the previous unit, so I cannot say for sure how the unit will be if you order from this listing now. I can only hope the current unit performs better/ quieter than this one, and it seems to have a more attractive design.

It’s a good unit keeps my mobile home nice and cool. Only issue was it didn’t come with a with a remote, but they sent one ASAP when I called them. Great customer service.

I live in a warm climate (it's 102 degrees out today) and my house doesn't have central AC so I have to make do with window units. That would be fine except my office faces west and when it's the hottest outside, that room is easy 90 degrees and up so I don't get much work done. I decided to try a window unit in the office; I'd never heard of this brand but the price seemed reasonable for a unit of this size so I gave it a shot. I've been testing it under the harshest conditions I can come up with: left the windows open on the hottest day, closed everything off but left the blinds open, doing physical work (cleaning) on the hottest day with no advance cooling and this little unit takes it all and cools the room down in minutes. It can drop the temp in 10 minutes from 90+ to 80 and keep it there. I can actually get work done! It's no louder than the 10,000 BTU AC in my bedroom and it looks as cool as an AC can look. I love being able to set a temperature; most of the 5000 BTU units are manuals and you have to guess and play with the controls to get the temperature you want. I love the remote- no getting up from the chair to adjust. I have casement windows which means the window stays open all the time with the unit in there and I had to cut exterior plywood and styrofoam insulation sheeting to block it in and it fits widthwise. Just make sure to measure correctly so you don't get one that's too wide. Overall, I'm overjoyed that I can cow use all the rooms in my house for little extra electricity! Definitely recommend!!!

We installed this AC unit in our shed in the backyard. It has small windows, so I made sure to measure before ordering and according to the product page, our window was the minimum width for use (23”). So I decided to give it a shot. It fit with no problem at all! My husband installed it in under 10 minutes and immediately it started cooling the area. It is much smaller than the 150 sq ft this product says it can cool, but it cools it off very quickly when he turns it on in the evenings. The functions all work as they should and are self explanatory on how to use. It is nice that it came with a remote, but isn’t really necessary for our use. For the price, you can’t really beat this cooling machine!

It's not as powerful as the other brands of AC units.

Nice cold air, lots of settings. There was extra cushioning/packaging around the condenser to keep it from breaking during shipping, which was nice. The extra packaging did kind of bend the metal grate a little on the side though. But it is the part that is outside the window and we would rather the condenser be well secured and have the little part of the metal grate bent as a tradeoff. It comes with a remote that is easy to use. It came with everything needed to install it and was easy to install. We put in in a small cabin and it cools the entire room. It isn't overly noisy and just provides white noise while sleeping.

This little window unit is great for cooling or dehumidifying small areas. I'm using this primarily to dehumidify an area and it seems to do a good job of that. The controls are intuitive both on the unit itself and on the included remote control. I did not window mount this unit but if I would have, it would have only taken a few minutes and some hand tools. Instead, I mounted this through a blank wall so it took a bit of extra time, but it still went rather quickly. This unit runs smoothly and is fairly quiet. The fan blowing the air makes most of the noise but you can hear the compressor humming when it cycles on, but it isn't loud and runs with very little vibration. Really happy with this unit so far and it is at a good price point if all you need to do is cool a small area.

Good air conditioner for a 170 square foot bedroom. Everything is included for an easy installation. If you have never installed a window AC do make sure you have that slight downward pitch to the outside for drainage. Nice features with a good remote. Apparently other reviewer found it to be quieter than I did, but it still acceptable. I was quite surprised to see that since I got it 5 weeks ago the price has been cut to half so it seems like a very good value if you need a bedroom AC.
