Absolutely wonderful soy chunks
These soy chunks are a bit bigger than bite size. When I prepared them, they ended up with a beef-like chew, which is terrific for me because I was looking for a beef-substitute. I first rehydrated them in boiling faux beef broth. However, while they got softer all around, they were still not completely rehydrated on the inside. So I went ahead and dumped them into my soup mixture and let them gently simmer for 15 minutes. Perfection and with the texture of stewed beef. Next I am going to use them as the meat in my No-Meat Beef Stew. These are 10 out of 10 for my purposes! Update: I made the No-Meat Beef Stew and it turned out great! Every bit as good as regular beef stew but without beef. I will definitely purchase these Rani Soya Chunks again!

Restaurant taste chaap.
Really enjoyed the softness of the chap. The quantity and size of each chap is prefect to what we eat at restaurants. The only tough task I thought was getting it ready for my curry but it might as I cooked this for first time. Overall great product and prefect taste and texture or soya.

Definitely worth it
I purchased these for the first time and didn't know what to expect. They remind me a little of tofu, they have no flavor until you add it. You can be quite creative when making these. I rehydrate these with a seasoned broth instead of just water and they are very tasty. I told my son about them and I ended up getting him them. He made popcorn chicken with them and my two grandsons ended up loving them, they are 5 and 6. For the quantity, quality and price, these are definitely worth trying.

All 6 cans leaking, rusted, black mold and yellow slime in box and on cans.
This product arrived damaged - all 6-cans dented and leaking inside original 6-pack box that came from a RANI warehouse. There was NO DAMAGE to the outer AMAZON box it came in. All 6-cans are rusted, and have black mold growing on the labels. This tells me RANI took a damaged, already leaking and stinking box from their stock, and sent it in an Amazon Box to me . . . probably hoping I'd give up on getting a refund because it's food. Box was delivered 2-days after ordering - no way that much mold and rust forms on cans that are originating in one DESERT City Warehouse, and delivered to another Desert City home. Well over 100-degrees and 15% humidity during the whole shipment time, so NOPE FOLKS, all that rust and stinky black mold and slimy yellow gray ooze could NOT FORM in 48-hours under those conditions of heat and low humidity, especially since you have to consider how much hotter it is in the back of a cargo truck. UNSATISFACTORY and it you read all the 1-Star reviews on this product, you'd see they have don e this to MANY, MANY Amazon Customers just in the last 4-months of 2025 alone. NOT an isolated incident. Somebody needs to hold RANI accountable, or take them off Amazon as a vendor ASAP.

Perfect texture! Great taste! 😋
So delicious! Only cooked it once so far, but I know I will be getting this again. Can't wait to make some curry with this.

It is a healthy alternative
I wanted a plant base sub for meat, and this was what I chose after reading reviews. My daughter and I did enjoy it, as after seasoning it tasted well. However, I really would have liked it if it wasn't so round and it was really like what was advertised, and that is why I couldn't give it full rating.

Easy to use, best price per lb, great container.
High quality and consistent product. I simply boil water in a kettle and pour over and cover (you can also add salt or perhaps broth). After they are entirely spongy just squeeze them out as best you can and air fry them. Take them out and sauce and you're in for a treat.
