Good product and design
Good product and design to make easy to put my guitar strap on and off, really easy to install and only need a drill, masking tape and watch a few videos before to avoid damaging your guitar. Some videos recommend to apply a little bit of bee wax on screws to avoid cracking the wood I used a little bit of chapstick and worked great. Fit really nicely with my guitar and screws are long enough to be secure it helps a lot to balance the guitar weight, easy to lock and unlocking the strap. Great value to the money paid.

Must-have for every bass.
This is probably the first thing I purchase for any guitar or bass. After having basses slip off the strap while practicing, I started looking into strap locks. These are generally easy to install (though the lock washer can take some "convincing" at times,) easy to remove - and it's an easy way to share a strap between multiple instruments, too, without trying to force it over strap buttons.Mind you, most of mine have their own strap, but still.I only have one instrument with the competition (Schallers,) and while I give them the edge in installation thanks to just screwing a nut in instead of fiddling with the lock washer, it adds "knobs" to the end of the instrument which I'm not as fond of with the strap attached. These are solid and present a flat surface when setting an instrument down.I've put these on multiple Schecter basses, Ibanez basses, Strats and even my low cost LP Special I. Another review mentions drilling into the truss rod - if you've got a strap button attachment that goes "vertically" (into the back of the neck, basically,) then yes, look out for that, but otherwise this is an easy, hassle free direct replacement for your default strap buttons... and looks better than rubber washers.

Every Guitar
Every single time I've bought a new instrument, I've also purchased a set of these. They go on all my gear and have been holding strong for years. Simple to install, great hold. Sometimes I need to fill in the old hole on my basses with larger factory screws. But being able to clip in and out of every instrument with the same strap is such a great feature. And if I have a strap without the system in place, the larger buttons help keep it more secure.

Versatile and secure
Love these...secure and sturdy. The only time I have seen a failure is when a strap tore through. I use them on all my guitars and basses. Quick hint: you can buy one or two of the complete sets, and enough buttons (at half the price) to outfit all your instruments. Switching is easy, two quick presses and the strap stays over your shoulder, ready for the next one.

I don't recommend these for a thick guitar strap.
These work very well and are easy to use after they are installed. Installing them on a thick strap is a pain in the a__. Dunlop needs to do something about that. It'll take one, maybe two pairs of vise grips and a pair of slip joint pliers, plus some rags to use between the tools and the strap-lock to keep from scuffing it up. Then be patient. This might take several tries. Once installed, they are very secure.
