Will this work to cover my lawn while I reseed it please?

Hi, The small bird will be able to get through the netting. So you need to go for a smaller mesh really. We also supply 19mm & 28mm

Can you advise on supporting posts for this to prevent footballs going over?

Good quality product. Would be suitable to use with goal posts for football.

Is the netting strong enough to provide a barrier to prevent footballs from travelling over the top of a wall?

Yes it is; that's what I've used it for. Works a treat.

Is it elastic? / Does it stretch?

no stretch at all in this netting so measure accurately and allow extra for fixing etc.
