Easy to use, effective, efficient

This oven is easy to use and is as good as a full size oven. Bought this for my sons girlfriend as her oven had broke and she says that she can cook just as well in this so won't need to buy another oven.

My last oven lasted over 30 years so I was looking for a replacement without the microwave. After having a good look round I went for the Von Shef. It looks great and has a capacity of 38 liters which I wanted and was near enough to the 40 ltr I had previously. The only thing I wondered about was the timer only going up to 90 minutes for say a chicken but no problem I just need to turn the timer back to the time I have left!I haven’t yet done a chicken or something big but am sure it will be okay.I would thoroughly recommend this oven.

It heats up very slowly even when the temperature set point is maximum, powered by both top and bottom heaters. Highlydisappointed and don't buy.

I bought this for my son and his partner who have just purchased a property in London that needs renovating. They had no oven so this is ideal while they do work on the house as they can use it in another room while they do the kitchen up. It arrived, as promised, the day after ordering and is ideal for them. Plus it fits pizzas in!!!!

We bought this to use as a temporary fix whilst we replaced our kitchen.What’s good:CompactQuick to heat upGood grillPlugs into a conventional socketWhat’s less good:Small - fine for a couple but less good for a family of 5Heat - it takes an age to cook and won’t heat up sufficiently for roast potatoesUnstable - the door is heavy and a little unbalancedThe timer - I though I could make use of the lower temperature by slow roasting lamb but the timer needs constantly resetting (it only lasts for an hour)We intended to keep this as a back up once the new kitchen was built but it just isn’t worth keeping for anything other than the grill function.

Easy to use well made and cheaper than most good brands. Have bought others but I would buy and use this again. Although a lower score for easy to clean, this is because ALL small ovens are not easy to clean for me, that is.
