Frustrating and fulfilling three hours of work
I actually was eyeing the marble run first, but since I haven’t done any from this brand before, I figure I should start with something simpler. This is a very well thought out 3D puzzle, and the finished product looks exquisite. My problem is really with how hard it is to get some of the pieces in place. I mean I have very little grip strength, so the later steps where you have to wiggle and force a piece in place was very difficult. And the wooden pieces aren’t strong enough to withstand some hammering. Luckily, with the help of my 8 yr old toy hammer and my trusty tweezer, I manage to softly bang some of the edge in without damaging the wood too much. The instruction isn’t exactly crystal clear, took me a page or two in before realizing pieces with + sign next to them are extra pieces. And I was kind of hoping my lego/puzzle savvy 8 yr old could have enjoyed this project with me. Nope, he might be able to follow the instructions, but to build this thing, a child needs to be pretty advanced in manual dexterity.Anyway, it took me about 2-3 hours, mostly trying to figure out how to bang/wiggle things into place. There were a lot of doubts as to if the finished project would actually work or not.It did, and frustration aside, I am impressed with the design. Definitely worth it if you enjoy building this kind of puzzle. Now I am thinking about getting multiple others to build and gift, since you can hide trinket in there.

Engaging and Satisfying Build
This puzzle box is a fun and rewarding DIY project. The pieces fit together well, and the assembly process is detailed but not frustrating. The instructions are clear, making it enjoyable to follow along and see the mechanics come together. Completing it feels like an accomplishment, and the moving parts work smoothly when assembled correctly. What I Like:• Challenging but fun – The right balance of complexity to keep it interesting.• Well-fitting pieces – Everything snaps together securely without needing glue.• Clear instructions – Easy to follow without getting stuck.

Tricky to assemble
This is tricky to assemble and not for the novice puzzle maker. It is a little bit lacking and sturdiness, but it is fun once it is fit together.

Great customer service! Great product!
The treasure box is very interesting, and works great! The instructions are clear, and well written, I had very little problems with assembly. I will note that you will need some type of heat source for the construction, because several times during building I was required to calibrate some parts with wax (which is provided in the kit). The only complaint I have about the product is that, like some others have said in their reviews, SOME OF THE WOODEN PARTS ARE VERY DELICATE, AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH CARE. While building the treasure box, an important piece of the lock broke, and I couldn't fix it. So I contacted the company, and they were very kind. I told them about the broken pieces, and they nicely shipped me a completely new kit to replace the last one. It arrived within a week, and was in perfectly good condition. I finished construction without any major issues, and now it is sitting in my room, storing some of my things.

Fun and challenging 3D puzzle
I really like the ROKR puzzles. They are fun and sometimes a bit challenging but in the end you end up with something that really works! At first, the puzzles look a little intimidating, but just follow the instructions, and it all works out! What I like:It comes with everything you need.Instructions are good and when you are not clear on something, there's videos. There are spare parts provided. What I don't like:I'd like to see a larger variety.

Be careful and give this beauty your best attention
This was a little more challenging than expected but I like that. Only one problem that had to do with setting up the combination. It turns out that the numbers at the start of the instruction manual are numbers NOT to use. The numbers at the end are what you need.I had a great time assembling this little gem. I appreciate the spare parts. I did break one of the rubber bands. I had to use a tiny bit of cyano glue on one of the connectors for the sides. A minor problem. To be expected because if the needed thinness of the sides. I like the cutting measurement tool. It made cutting the dowels much easier.I gave the box to my wife who is thrilled with it.

Pretty but daunting project, definitely NOT a first project.
Well, the box is a daunting project on a number of levels and not for the “faint of heart”. First, the package arrived and appeared rather abused. Coming from China with little protection involved did cause some limited damage, mostly an annoyance. The pieces are well cut and labeled satisfactorily. The instruction book is a real challenge at times even though they tried hard to explain “things”. There’s many opportunities during assembly to get “off track” and pull your hair out. I would NOT recommend this box as a “starter” project, too complex and does indeed require lots of patience. I got through everything finally and everything works BUT I did have to improvise on one major point to “make it work” and not everyone would go to that extreme to analyze and study the mechanism to as I said “make it work”. Some of the pieces are very fragile and require some TLC.Overall it’s a challenging project that performs as described provided you are determined, meticulous, and appreciate a “one of a kind” box. All the effort and determination required did take some of the fun out of it, but the satisfaction of actually completing a rather complex and exhausting project did help.
