If you want to put your CO2 tank in a cabinet or closet then a long hose is necessary. This hose worked well. The walls are thinner than on the shorter hose that I had been using, but it should be okay. A 10# or 20# CO2 tank and a carbonator cap is sooo much more cost-effective than those small CO2 cartridges that are used with devices like the Soda Stream, plus you can put the CO2 tank in a cabinet out of the way. You can get the tank filled at a soda fountain supply company. I estimate that the variable cost per liter is about 3 cents.

This was good quality but my hope was to use it with a regulator. Attaching my SodaStream to a 5 lb CO2 canister. I think the SodaStream just needed a smaller diameter CO2 line

Good kegerator lines. The standard Tridon hose clamps with the screw head are perfect for fit in the tap tower (kits with the wing thumb screw won't fit). Good wall thickness yet flexible enough to connect in my tap tower.
