Having managed rental properties for years, I have been well acquainted with ozone machines. They work wonders for neutralizing odors like cigarette smoke and pet urine. Those commercial machines, however, are not for use in occupied homes.I wanted something to help eliminate litter box odor in one of my rooms so I decided to give this a try. I will say, it DOES neutralize the litter box smell but I am concerned with the safety of using an ozone machine inside my house and I have read a lot of conflicting information as to what constitutes acceptable/harmful levels of ozone. So I use it sparingly.I recommend reading what the EPA has to say regarding the use of ozone generators in occupied spaces and making an informed decision prior to purchasing.

This little thing is mighty! Yes, the turn switch came cracked and damaged, but the product still worked, so I kept it. I just plug it into an open, uncovered outlet and turn it on. Depending on the size of the room, the odor is gone within minutes. I moved into an apartment and the last tenant was a smoker, so the front closet smelt like cigarettes. I tried every deodorizer and air freshener under the sun. Then, I bought this little thing. I opened the closet door, placed the Plixio into the nearest outlet, and let it work. Within an hour the whole room, not just my closet, smelt clean! It no longer smells like cigarettes! I now use it around my house before I have guests over and after I take out the trash. I also brought it to my sister's house when we had a scotch & cigar party. There was a small room between the garage where everyone was smoking and the house. I put it in there, turned it on, and when people moved in and out of the house, the house didn't smell like cigars!I love this thing and recommend it to anyone who just want the house to smell clean, not like air fresheners.It does get hot when kept on for long periods of time. I recommend only keeping it on for an hour at a time.

My husband is a heavy cigarette smoker. I quit years ago. Any ex-Smoker will tell you, cig smoke bothers us more than anyone. We bought four of these for our 3,000sf home. One in the basement near litter box. No more odor from there! One in the kitchen near trash can. Trash odor gone. One behind my beloveds favorite place to sit and smoke...you can actually see the smoke disappear. Whew, Much better! One in the hallway, for residual odors from bathroom, etc. I’m told too much is bad, so we bought these tiny, inexpensive devices. Once in awhile, you get a whiff of the bleachy negative ion scent, which I love, personally. Most important, I no longer cough all night from residual smoke. PleasedADDENDUM: These nice little gadgets blew out, all four, after only 6 months of use! Changing my review...Not happy. Would return them, but it’s been too long, I’m sure. Hoped they’d last longer than THAT!

I bought 2 units last August, which was less than two months ago. One already stopped working. It doesn’t disperse negative ions anymore (the purple light disappeared) and it makes a loud buzzing noise from the fan inside the unit. Waste of money. It says there is a 1 year warranty but I cannot contact the seller anymore form my past Amazon orders.*** UPDATEThe seller did contact me and sent a replacement unit. The only problem is, they sent me a unit that is around half the price... Even on Amazon, the original unit I purchased (the circular one) is around $30, and the replacement unit (the rectangular one) the company sent is around $20.

I just moved into an apartment, and my neighbor smokes, and about 1 day per week, has a party or gathering, and all of their friends smoke. I purchased this unit for my restroom because the smell was extremely heavy there. The unit works perfectly. I am no longer overwhelmed by the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. I will buy another unit for my kitchen, because now the smell seems to be coming through the wall in there. I read the EPA information, but I have used the device for about a week at the highest setting, combined with the bathroom vent, with no negative side effects.

This ozone generator works exactly as described. I am using it in a small utility room that previously had cats in it. I did everything I could to try to get rid of the cat urine odor including the replacement of sheetrock and painting the floor with a heavy coat of KILZ odor stopping paint. I still had a slight cat urine odor until I plugged in the "Air Purifier". I like how the strength of the ozone can be adjusted by turning the knob. Again, I am using this in a small room, about 9' X 12'. It works well for me!

I normally do not write reviews though this thing really works. It is quite amazing. I have an office that can get a musty smell in it. My husband plugged it in and today when I went into it, it literally has the absence of any smells. It feels like the air is lighter and cleaner. I totally recommend this product and thank you who went before me to review this product!

This little suckered works! I plugged it in directly over the cat box and let me tell you...it makes a world of difference. I was skeptical bc it's so small and it definitely has its own scent but it's just a clean, plastic-y smell. Nothing horrible and way better than a cat box. You know.
