In my humble opinion, the Meso series of speakers by CT Sounds, are better than a pair of " for the money ", or " for the price ", speakers. I have had components from just about every major brand except Focal, and I would like to say that these are by far some of the best sounding component speakers that I have ever had installed into one of my vehicles to date. Even my installer, ( a 30 year veteran ), was amazed and hyped up about the sound quality, overall impact, and clarity of the Meso components. I have these in the front doors and a 6.5 coaxial set in the rear of an Accord Sport sedan, being powered by a Kenwood Excelon XR400-4 amp and my entire sound stage became magical. Please keep in mind the massive magnets attached to the cones as you will need to do some major modification, and with that, mine still barely fit with just about a quarter of an inch, ( or less ), spacing between the cone and the interior door panel. You may also need to work on the mounting bracket as well. That's why I pay for an installer. My only gripe would be that the tweeters are a bit bright for my sensitive ears. Mind you, I am still using the factory installed radio, so I had to tweak the settings and they were still a bit harsh for me as the tweeters are big and placed in the interior side mirror trim. However, this was easily remedied by fading my speakers a little more to the rear. Now the highs are sweet, the mids are crisp, and the mid bass is punchy, tight, and articulate. Now I am no longer a youngin looking to shake the earth while driving, but I still like impact and detail, just more refined, and at lower levels. The CT Sounds Mesos have far exceeded my expectations, especially since I had never heard of this company before looking for components on Amazon that would fit my car. I still need to add a 10 inch sub to round out the sound and bring in those 50 down to 25 hertz frequencies, but for now, I can live with the depth and punch of the midbass gained with the Mesos and was barely present in my stock speakers. They are very well crafted and appear to be sturdy, so I am confident that I will get more than my money's worth out of them. So if you are looking for a great component set, that look and sound amazing, but will not break the bank...look no further than CT Sounds Meso series!!

I have been waiting to hear these on a nice amp. I have them on an old cheap amp in my regular cab and they sounded good. I lost a high in my dually and went for the 6.5 fronts and the 5.25 rear components. Sadly the rears don’t fit the magnets are too big for where I put them so I found some slim 6.5 ct sounds I ordered. The 6.5 meso components in the front doors are incredible. They are super clear and I thought that I was impressed by the mid bass before but now on an adult amplifier I’m blown away. I was skeptical they would be that much better but I was shown today! I threw some basic tuning in it before we left for dinner and we shuffled through genres on the drive. The highs aren’t aggressive they are clear and you can make them really bright but they seem to be just about right. The vocals are clear and crisp and sound really good. The amount of bass they put out without any distortion or that weird sound of bass through a door speaker is shocking. With out a doubt I will be running these in my other truck. I have room for the 3 ways so I will probably run those. Disappointed the 5.25s were too deep and hit the window motor but the shallow 6.5 loud speaker should fit and be plenty for the rear. I have never been a fan of rear speakers so they won’t be up loud anyways. Hands down the best budget priced speaker I have purchased. I can’t wait to need new subs 😂

Really happy with the quality and sound these put out. Chose these because my 25 year old alpine 6.5 were just wore out and I will say these take the full power of 75 watts RMS on full no hpf and sound great. Very happy with them will definitely look in to the subs and other speakers thank you ct sounds great product

The midrange driver is astounding in how it reproduces sound from 80hz up. However the tweeters are very brilliant and are very eSssy. Even with my old 55yr old ears, the eSssses are really difficult to tune down. Imaging and midbass are crystal clear.

For handling power A+. Clarity on the voice is great especially if you tune them well. Midbass is great if you like it low. They work well with or without the crossovers. I think they play better in speaker pods. But mines are sealed with sound deadening.
