Beautiful bench and so comfortable! I love it!

This was super-easy to put together (I did need the instructions). You need to keep screwing in the bolts. Just keep turning until they finally tell you to stop (by tension). You will be doing a LOT of screwing, as the bolts are really long and the Allen wrench they give you is a bit tricky to make work. That is mostly the problem of aligning the holes — but don't give up if it is hard at first. This is a wonderful stool and you absolutely 100% need to make sure those bolts are securely in place as you only have a few points of contact holding this thing together.This is real wood and so solid. You can smell the varnish oil, which is so nice. You need to keep it out of the water (the instructions specifically say to not let it sit in standing water for too long), and you do need to clean it regularly and let it dry ‚ as humidity is NOT this bench's friend.But wow. This is so comfortable and as I said before, really durable. There is nothing fake or MDF about this. This is a luxury item. My only problem was that during the assembly it often felt warped, as I had not aligned the pieces perfectly. You ill experience this problem as well. That is because of how it fits together. You have to start, keep going, and every once in aa while gently bang it with something soft (like your palm) into alignment. This will become apparent during the final steps of construction — but it will fit, and remember to keep turning the screw. At some point you will have to flip the Allen wrench, which makes turning the screws harder, but you will have more torque, which you will need. It is worth the effort. When this is complete it is gorgeous (and kinda heavy tbh).Absolutely a 5-star hotel item.

Reviewing GREENTEAK Premium 18” Teak Shower Bench, This is a great quality bench for the bathroom or for inside the shower. We got to as a place to set on towels out for when we want to use the hot tub. Once I get out, taking my towel off the bench to use it, I sit on the bench to put my shoes on to trek back into the house.The teak is gorgeous and finished beautifully. The height is perfect for a sitting stool and the assembly was easy and quick. We did get a squeegee to put next to it, so we can squeegee off any standing water after we’re done using it and we got a patio ottoman cover to put over it when it’s not in use. Water left standing on teak can prematurely age it, so we want to avoid that.

This is one of the highest quality wood furniture pieces I have reviewed and tested on Amazon. It looks way more impressive in person. The color and variation in the wood texture is beautiful. It performs admirably in my steam room. The wood is solid and the jointery is clean and without gaps. The finish is very smooth with no splinters. Once assembled it is very sturdy. Out of the box it does have a smell that comes from the oil used on the wood. That is expected and will eventually fade over time. There is no sealant on the wood which is fine since teak is naturally water resistant.Yes, this is a more expensive shower stool. However, I think it is worth every dollar. The quality is there. This will easily last for years.

I've been wanting a nice shower stool to make shaving my legs easier. This one feels really solid and has nice thick planks. I like that it's 12 inches wide and rectangular so it sits flat against the wall. I purchased a cheap one that was triangular and it ended up taking up too much space.This stool is a good height, the bench is wide enough to be comfortable and the curve helps with comfort as well. I'm also glad the wood isn't glossy. The one I previously purchased had a more glossy finish and ended up covered in a thin layer of slime; I don't think this one will because of the type of wood they used, and the finish on it, but if it does I'll come back and edit my review. It was very simple to put together, it took about 10 minutes. They included an Allen wrench and six screws with easy to follow instructions.

I have nothing but good things to say about this shower stool. It was well packaged and easy to assemble (only six bolts). The teak wood is low maintenance and durable. It does have a premium feel. I love that it has rubber leveling feet for grip and stability. When not in use, it fits perfectly in our bathroom next to the shower.
