How long is a strand?

Hi I just ordered 3 strands the box says 26.2 feet with 8 lights. But a long cord at she end 16.4 ft

For the manufacturer or seller: Please describe this product properly as far as total length and useable length of cable.

These light seem to do real well

How do they hold up in wind and rain?

I used them the month of December for Christmas decorations. I live in the Northeast. They held up very well in the rain, wind, sleet and snow.
