For my own part I screwed up and didn't pay attention to this being two shampoos instead of shampoo and conditioner. No fault of the description but just be aware. Both of these smell great though the red one in my opinion has more of a candy *sweeter* smell while the other reminds me of shea butter. They also both lather very well and do not leave hair feeling dry or brittle. I didn't notice a feel difference so much on my shorter hair but my wife's longer hair did feel much softer after it was fully dried. The reason for the 4 stars versus 5 is that my wife's hair felt much more tangled and knotted after washing than it ever had before. It took her substantially longer to brush through all the knots and tangles and she has never had that coming out of the shower with any other shampoo. She was quite befuddled by it and said for her personally she wasn't sure if it was worth the hassle of all the extra brushing (she uses a wet brush I think she called it). For me anything that helps prevent hair loss is a benefit and I don't have to worry about the brushing since my hair is so short.

One of the men in the family has noticed hair loss and wants to slow it down. So, we're trying this out. Comes in a thick display cardboard box ... this one really took some rough handling on it's journey. But inside, the 2 plastic bottles arrived in the desired condition of intact and full Bottles arrive with a flip tilt lid, but you will have to remove the little circle seals that help prevent leaking while traveling. A pump top is included for each of these. The gold shampoo has a sweet smell. The red shampoo is super thick and has a more pungent smell. As we've just begun using them, it is hard to say if they work or not.

This shampoo has a strong, lasting herbal scent. It reminds me a bit of men's aftershave. I don't like fragrance and this lingers on your hair after it dries and lasts until the next hair wash. I have color-treated hair and this is advertised as gentle. It isn't gentle enough for my hair -- may hair felt dry and stripped of moisture after one washing. My hair felt like it does after I use a clarifying shampoo designed to remove build up and that opens the hair shaft prior to coloring. It may be great stuff, but it just doesn't work for me.

I have thin hair. Hair loss was also common during this period. I did not see any reduction in hair loss. Maybe it's because I'm new to it. The shampoo is gentle on my scalp and suitable for daily use, leaving my hair feeling clean, nourished, and revitalized with every wash.

The product description is clear but apparently I skimmed over the part where it says this set includes two shampoos! I was quite surprised when I opened the package. The bottles come with squeeze lids as well as pumps. The shampoos have a light and pleasant scent that does stay on your hair. However, I think the smell morphs a bit once out of the bottle, not in a bad way, just something to note. The shampoo is very thick in consistency, probably the thickest I’ve ever used. It lathers nicely and does leave a very squeaky clean. My wife is also enjoying the shampoo and has paired it with several brands of conditioner and has enjoyed all the combinations she’s tried. We highly recommend, just make sure you have conditioner on hand if you purchase it!
