Plugged up to 220v to power a box fan and the fan would not power up. Tested the voltage and it was reading 36 volts. so practically useless for my application.

Nope. Did not work for me at all, hairdryer was making some weird noise but no air was coming out, tried it on my hairbrush dryer and it did the same thing. Too bad I can’t return it bc I was still on my trip in Asia when the return date closed. :(

Lo uso como convertidor de 220 a 110vac y funciona perfectamente al menos para consumos de potencia moderados. Viene con un kit de fusibles de reemplazo y una practica funda para su transporte. Ademas la diversidad de combinaciones de conexión, cubre alternativas de practicamente todos los paises.

Won't be trying it until October but looks like it will work. Hopefully! LOL
