Yummy
These boba pearls are fantastic! They’re really easy to make, cook up perfectly, and taste great. I’ve loved making drinks with them at home and would definitely buy them again.

No flavor
The texture is right, but they aren't sweet. There is, infact, no brown sugar flavor whatsoever. The fix though is pretty simple. Just make a 1:1 water to brown sugar syrup and soak the pearls in that.

Doesn't taste like brown sugar
First off, when I ordered this, it was not the same as the picture. The picture was a different bag/product. The picture has changed in the last month. Second, honestly it was not good. If you guys ever had Mexican cold/flu medicine, it tasted just like that. My mistake for not reading it was already flavored but even for it being brown sugar it was very disappointing. I threw them away.

Satisfied
The brown sugar is mild if you just do just like the instructions says. I personally add more brown sugar to cook with it and it’s DELICIOUS and chewy ! The price is pretty good and I don’t use a lot of bobas when I make boba milktea .it will definitely last for two weeks for me . I am really satisfied with this project. I am so glad Amazon actually sell it

Both smells and tastes pretty rough.
Easy to cook, texture was ok. Value for your money is fine. I rly liked the low sugar content. When you're cooking it tho, you're like oh man, I hope it doesn't taste like it smells. It does. I was able to drink most of my home made boba around the pearls, but the flavor did absorb into the tea a bit. I'm pretty serious abt not throwing away food, and I did throw away these pearls. The brown sugar flavor is not it. Other flavors may be better? Best keep shopping, tho.

Easy to make
These are quick cooking pearls so they are a little bit different from traditional boba that take longer to make. Because they are quick cooking pearls, the texture is a lot softer on the outside and too chewy on the inside. I like that the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Keep in mind that you would have to add sugar or your preferred sweetener of choice to sweeten the pearls or else they might turn out flavorless and bland. If you don't add sugar, it might also dilute your drink so just be sure to adjust accordingly. I think these tapioca pearls will be a great way to satisfy your boba cravings at home.

We're happy with these tapioca pearls!
Got them just yesterday and made our first bubble tea at home (using the zhen zhu nai cha recipe for TM6). They are exactly like the pearls from our favorite bubble tea store: lightly chewy (soft), with a slight flavor of brown sugar, and they don't float on top initially. After boiling them for 5 minutes, they start floating to the top, and then you rinse them for 20 seconds in cold water. All the starch comes off, and they're ready to use! We used a FoodSaver to seal the rest of the uncooked pearls to make them last longer. The remaining boiled pearls don't taste good the next day (they also get hard), so it's best to make them fresh. Will definitely buy again.

Don't buy these unflavored Boba pearls
It was disgusting, bland, and had no flavor when you bite into the balls. I tried it twice one time following the directions resulting in the same disgusting outcome with no flavor, and other time rinsing off the starch and boiling it in a burnt sugar molasses water for it to hopefully get flavor. Needless to say both attempts failed resulting in the same unflavored Boba pearls
