This has appeared to really help my uneven skin tone. Additionally- it goes on smoothly, does not seem to clog pores, and smells very pleasant!

No change whatsoever in dark spots

A good brightening cream without any irritation. I purchased the whole line (toner pads, serum, and cream) and the cream is by far my favorite product of the entire line. I'd give the line as a whole 3/5 stars, but the cream itself is definitely a 4/5. It is not heavy, not scented, feels fresh when you apply it, and can layer well above other products. I can't speak for its brightening claims alone since I am using it with the full line of products, but I think it still does a nice job as a night cream. Given its ingredients, I'd advise against using it during the day. Even with sunscreen, I am sceptical of using creams with TXA, etc. during the day. So, as a night cream, I think its a great addition to your routine. That said, price tag is a bit heavy and I'm not sure that there aren't better ones out there.

I find that the Melacare Intensive Cream is a rich daily moisturizer that really helps, especially with uneven skin tone. The blend of niacinamide and tranexamic acid makes my skin look brighter and more even while still keeping it hydrated and nourished. I like that the formula feels smooth without being greasy, so it works well under makeup too. At 1.69 fl oz, the tube is a good size for daily use and easy to travel with. Overall, Melacare Intensive Cream is a solid choice for both hydration and targeted tone care.

I have melasma from my last pregnancy. I’m about 8 months out from delivering. I’ve used this consistently for 3 months. It is moisturizing and does not irritate my skin. I have not noticed any lightening of my hyperpigmentation. I normally use this, vitamin c, and sunscreen. I’m breastfeeding, otherwise would try something stronger. Can’t necessarily blame the product because hormones may be at play, but the only new product I’ve added in last 3 months was this. I’ve consistently used vitamin c and sunscreen since delivery and found that that was really only thing that lightened. I’ll use the rest, but probably won’t repurchase.

I've been a fan of Genebelle's PDRN skincare products so I was excited to try this melacare cream as I've gotten a few freckles this brutal summer. The cream itself has no fragrance added, spreads and applies easily and absorbs well without irritating the skin or leaving any greasy residue and leaving my skin hydrated and soft, so this is perfect for those with sensitive skin. After two weeks of use, I definitely see my freckles and PIH lightening, as well as an improvement on my overall skin tone, but my spots are also more fresh so I'm not sure how effective the cream will be with spots that are older. I will say though that the active ingredients are scientifically proven to help with dark spots so I can imagine that this cream will at least help a little bit.

The scent is pleasant, though I can’t quite place the fragrance. The cream itself is milky, soft, and really easy to work into the skin without any trouble. It leaves my skin feeling well-moisturized and dewy, but still natural-looking. This one’s designed for dark spots and overall brightening over time, thanks to ingredients like tranexamic acid and niacinamide. That’s probably why it recommends morning and night use. I’m not totally sure how I feel about the idea of becoming paler-haha-but I don’t think that’s really what this cream is going for. It seems more focused on evening out tone, especially by targeting darker or uneven areas. For now, the immediate effect is nice enough that I’ll treat it like a multi-purpose moisturizer. That also means it’s important not to skip the rest of your skincare routine, especially for daytime protection.
