Melacare Intensive Cream – Targeted Care for Uneven Skin Tone, Hydrating & Nourishing Daily Moisturizer with Niacinamide and Tranexamic Acid 1.69 fl oz

I've been a fan of Genebelle's PDRN skincare products so I was excited to try this melacare cream as I've gotten a few freckles this brutal summer. The cream itself has no fragrance added, spreads and applies easily and absorbs well without irritating the skin or leaving any greasy residue and leaving my skin hydrated and soft, so this is perfect for those with sensitive skin.After two weeks of use, I definitely see my freckles and PIH lightening, as well as an improvement on my overall skin tone, but my spots are also more fresh so I'm not sure how effective the cream will be with spots that are older. I will say though that the active ingredients are scientifically proven to help with dark spots so I can imagine that this cream will at least help a little bit.

The scent is pleasant, though I can’t quite place the fragrance. The cream itself is milky, soft, and really easy to work into the skin without any trouble. It leaves my skin feeling well-moisturized and dewy, but still natural-looking.This one’s designed for dark spots and overall brightening over time, thanks to ingredients like tranexamic acid and niacinamide. That’s probably why it recommends morning and night use. I’m not totally sure how I feel about the idea of becoming paler-haha-but I don’t think that’s really what this cream is going for. It seems more focused on evening out tone, especially by targeting darker or uneven areas.For now, the immediate effect is nice enough that I’ll treat it like a multi-purpose moisturizer. That also means it’s important not to skip the rest of your skincare routine, especially for daytime protection.

This South Korean cream is a moisturizer that targets uneven skin tone with gentle ingredients like tranexamic acid, niacinamide and Cinderella care. These ingredients claim to regulate melatonin to prevent future damage and whiten the skin. It’s a different approach from using harsher ingredients such as hydroquinone and Retin-A. If you have sensitive skin, it’s definitely worth a try. South Korean skin care is known to be innovative. I’ve only been using it for a week, so it’s too soon to tell, but the cream does a good job hydrating the skin. Plus, it is non-irritating, even though it is scented. I appreciate the fact that it’s in a tube, not a jar. This prevents the cream from becoming contaminated with air or bacteria from fingers.

A good brightening cream without any irritation. I purchased the whole line (toner pads, serum, and cream) and the cream is by far my favorite product of the entire line. I'd give the line as a whole 3/5 stars, but the cream itself is definitely a 4/5. It is not heavy, not scented, feels fresh when you apply it, and can layer well above other products. I can't speak for its brightening claims alone since I am using it with the full line of products, but I think it still does a nice job as a night cream. Given its ingredients, I'd advise against using it during the day. Even with sunscreen, I am sceptical of using creams with TXA, etc. during the day. So, as a night cream, I think its a great addition to your routine. That said, price tag is a bit heavy and I'm not sure that there aren't better ones out there.

I used this for the first time today and it felt really smooth. The texture is lightweight and it absorbed quickly without feeling sticky. I didn’t get any irritation or redness, which is always a concern for me when trying something new. It made my skin feel hydrated and gave it a soft, slightly brightened look after applying. I like that it’s meant to target different types of uneven tones, since I have a mix of old marks and areas that just look dull. It’s too early to say how it’ll work long term, but as a first step, it feels promising. I’m planning to keep using it in my evening routine to see how it does with regular use. Just be sure to follow-up with sunscreen if you use it during the day, since it doesn't have any SPF.

I have been using this daily for approximately 2 weeks and as you can see from my "before and after" pictures this definitely works! Not only has it lightened my melasma, but it has also softened some of my fine lines, softened the texture, and hydrated my skin. It is a great price at $32. I have been using this in conjunction with my prescription tretinoin (which I have been on for months). I am use to the tretinoin now, but there is always a chance of irritation when adding new, strong skin products to the mix...I haven't experienced any skin irritation at all when I added this. I highly recommend this product if you have dark spots that need taken care of!

Oh my goodness!!! I have to admit that I didn’t have high hopes for this cream just because I’ve tried so many that promise this & that but of course never come into fruition. I’m blown away by this intensive cream because my skin feels like butter. I’m loving the light & non greasy feel too!!! The fact that it’s in this squeeze tube is extremely appreciated. I’m content with this & plan on using it for years to come!!! Clean ingredients & quick absorbing!! You can’t go wrong & you won’t want to go through life without it once you use it consistently for roughly a week or so. Pleasantly pleased & highly recommended!!!

This cream is very smooth and moisturized. It absorbs fast, not sticky, and smells good, and it stays hydrated for a long time. Made in Korea.
