Yes, you can carefully brush it out

Will this dry your hair out and possibly cause breakage?

Honestly I didn't notice a problem with my hair being dry, however I made sure My hair was very well moisturized before installing the yarn.Also my hair was braided before, so I just used it as a crochet. Hope this helps

Can one roll do a whole head of twists

It took me 3 rolls. That’s all it will take to do that style.

Can you use light heat on this?

Yes I have never used heat on it but there are YouTube videos that teaches you how to use heat.
