I took a bit of a chance on this but I have to say that this camera is brilliant for the money and is a really cost effective way to setup a house surveillance system. Works as advertised and is easy to setup. It has a great picture quality and the device itself appears well made. It’s simple to setup with the Danale app which I found easy to use once id registered. (free) First off just connect to your router with a network cable and then install the app on your phone. Register and go into settings and then network. Add to your Wi-Fi and you are good to go. The app supports 3/4g also so you could be at work and want to check you’ve not left the iron on etc.  I also love how it has a build in audio speaker so you can talk down your phone and it comes from the device. The movement function works well by simply dragging your finger over the image in the direction you want it to move. It also picks up sound so it’s a perfect device if you have a baby and want to make sure everything is ok. Finally, the motion detection does work fine after a little messing about but was fine. I’d recommend fitting an SD card too! For the money I have no complaints about the product and can highly recommend it.

This is the second camera I have bought from Topcony in as many months as I was astonished by the quality of my first and the picture quality,set up and ease of use was amazing. The app is straight forward and when away from home we can view areas that are covered by the cameras to check on our dogs etc. It is good advice to purchase a good quality sd card at the same time as easy to record any incidents that may occur or subscribe to the cloud for a minimal fee. These are exceptional value for money and you will not be disappointed.

Great product, easy to set up and use, it has a good picture. It is quite nosey when it moves so the dogs we are watching know it's there! You can take pictures and video which is a nice feature. It's a shame only 1 person at a time can log in but it's a small criticism

The camera is an amazing bit of kit and was so easy to set up and get functioning. Was up and running in 10 minutes once Danale app was install. I use the camera every day while at work to check on home and must say the picture is amazing quality even at night in night view mode. So impress im about to another for around my house. Very happy and would highly recommend buying an sd card so that you can record. This is another feature which works great very very impressed 10/10 Topconny 😁😁😁

Took a little while too set up but now its Great connected to wifi and recording to 128gb sd card might choose to record to cloud later . Got it in corner of window sill facing street it gets a little reflection at night from glass but still good enough to see ,Motion detection working leaves a prompt on playback soo you can look to see what caused it .Feels good quality good value .Two apps too choose from I found Al View a bit better than Danale

The set up and connection of the camera was very easy. Overall it's very good quality for the price, the picture is crisp and clear. If you require a camera for remote viewing only, this will fit the bill. That said, the pan/tilt navigation is a little on the over-sensitive side; but you get used to it. The camera relies on the Danale app which is available on the Play Store for Android devices. The App is rather frustrating at first, because it is weighted in favour of using the - Paid for - Cloud Storage and not the internal SD card. I managed to eventually persuade the camera to record to the SD card, but it can be a faff. The camera is very fussy about the type of SD card you use, so be aware as you need to budget another £20 for a memory card that will work. Even then, the buggy app will prove a challenge as it has a tendency to drop/forget settings. I initially rated this 1 star as I was so annoyed by the App, but in fairness the customer support people tried to put things right [with limited success]. On that basis, I am increasing my rating to 3 stars, which I feel is fair. The camera has proved - so far - reliable, but the Danale app is its Achilles' heel. Second update - AVOID THIS PRODUCT - I have downgraded my rating to 1 star again. This camera, whilst ok from a hardware point of view, is rendered completely useless by the appalling software it uses. None of the settings seem to work, reviewing what's been recorded is near impossible, the entire set up is flawed. Save your money and avoid the stress I've been through attempting to get this to work. After months of disappointment, I finally disconnected the camera and replaced it with a Xiaomi camera, which does everything this camera can't.

At 1st I struggled to connect the camera to the network, I made sure I was on 2.4ghz etc but no joy. After reading the reviews on the danale app I found a post which tells you to check permissions on your mobile phone and then turn on the danale app permission. After this the camera connected within 40 seconds! Well pleased with the quality of the camera for 30 odd quid, the night vision is good too. Could do with a joystick instead of swiping the screen to rotate but other than that I'm very pleased and would recommend

The camera itself is great. The real problem is the app. You cannot get motion detection snaps on an SD card as stated, the software won’t let you. You are always harassed to ‘subscribe’. The software is rigged to make you pay for ‘the cloud’. Update: The app has been updated to let you you use the SD, however, i think I have been locked out as I just will not let me login. The app says it has sent a code, but no code comes.
