Won't hold a charge
It's tough to buy a bike light on Amazon. Everything looks kind of the same, and they all make pretty similar claims. I went with this one because it had good reviews, and it seemed to be a family-run company, rather than some anonymous electronics giant. The first time the bike failed to hold a charge for more than 10 minutes, I assumed I'd done something wrong. The second time, I thought the same. I even tried a couple different cords. But the light will only work for about 10 minutes before it conks out. Which is pretty inconvenient when you're facing a commute home through a dark city. Anyway, just leaving a review because I wish I'd tried a different product instead.

Liked it a lot
I bought one, mostly because it was cheap and it would clip onto a bike bag. Liked it a lot, so I bought two more! They're small, are really bright, flash in different patterns so they attract a lot of attention and best of all, I don't have to buy any more batteries!Update: I bought two more of them since I really liked the first one. Now I have one on the seat post and two on the back of the bike bag. They work great. I had a larger one that was sort of heavy and it shook off the strap on the bike bag. These are small enough and have a firm enough clip that they stay put, clipped onto the band at the back of the bike bag. And even though they're small, they really put out a lot of light.

Good value for a lightweight small flasher. I wish it were brighter.
It is smaller than I expected it to be. I wish it were brighter. We ride in the day and would like these flashers to be more visible. Of course it looks brighter at night. It is most obvious from behind, It can be seen from the sides, but is not as bright as the 3 leds face the rear. This is a drawback and the reason I took off a star. As you can see, and I some how missed, the flasher is about the diameter of the lower seat post. It is maybe two inches tall and sets almost vertical. It has a rubberized plug that pushed into the charging port to help keep it waterproof. At first I was surprised that it is held on by a rubber strap and not a clip. I would prefer to just snap it into a clip with one hand. But this one you must hold the light with one hand and them stretch a rubber band thing around the seat post. It definitely takes two hands and some bending over to see what you are doing. But in the long run, it is really quite functional. I have seen the rubber straps for sale in multipacks on Amazon if you need to replace one.On the plus side, It is easily removable for charging. I remove it and charge it on my phone charger, about 2.5 hours inside the house. That is much easier than messing with the cords outside. It seems up hold up for about 3 hour long rides. Maybe it would go longer, I have not timed how long it will last as I don't want to run it down while on a ride. It has 5 different blink patterns. I try to choose the shortest blinks pattern, the 4th one, to maximize the battery life.. There is a setting where all three flashers blink together. It is much brighter, but I have been concerned it will drain the battery quickly. I'm really still experimenting with it and need to try the brighter flash instead of making assumptions about it.We went on a night ride with a hundred or so riders. This flasher was about average. It was by no stretch the brightest. But I'm sure the brighter oneslikely cost 4 time more than this one. From what I could tell, the brighter ones probably use D size batteries. As I remember it, they were much bigger. I wanted lightweight and small, and that is exactly what I got. HeheAll things considered, it is a good value for the price, But I wish it were brighter.

Great bicycle tail light--great value.
I really like this little, rechargeable tail light. It is easy to install (with the included parts), it recharges quickly, and lasts for several hours per charge (depending upon the light setting). I bought this light this summer and have used it every ride. I had my wife follow me in the car during a daylight ride, and she said it was very easy to see the light from 1/4 mile away. I use the slow, alternate-flashing mode and the light lasts for 8-10 hours. When it needs to be recharged, it is easy to remove from the holder.UPDATE 08/10/2019 I lost my 1st Cycle Torch light. I thought I would clip it to my small saddle bag under the seat, but it fell off. I like it so much I ordered a new one and will attach it to the included clip--it never moved a millimeter when attached to its own clip. The new light has a different on-off pattern. The light sequences are the same, but to turn it off requires a long press. When you turn it on it turns on to the last setting, instead of cycling thru the different patterns (which I actually like). This is a great, very bright light that is reasonably priced.

Nice little light
Update: I removed a star due to battery life. We like how this fits on the aero seatpost, and it's plenty bright, but after a 2 hour ride on a day the light is consistently dead before the next ride a couple of days later. I had assumed I could get two rides out of this, but it's not the case. Great little light, but the don't expect go get away with not charging after a ride.Original: Small, lightweight with seemingly decent battery life. I wish it was a little brighter, but it does a nice job for a 35lm light. You can see the rider during the day as well as the evening. The mounting feature is a thicker band than some use, which is good, and the mount is angled so the light sits flat when mounted to angled seat posts. I bought it for my wife's aero road bike and had to modify the mount a bit. While the mounting clip had non-slip backing, it was flatter than what I needed for a narrower aero post. I solved this by gently heating the bracket and bending it into the proper shape. It now fits perfectly.

poor quality and comes in too many pieces
I bought this light after someone stole my previous rear light off my bicycle one day. I really did not like how the mount, the light, and the rubber attachment are all in 3 pieces. I used it once and almost lost the rubber piece after removing the light from my bike since theres no way to keep it attached to the mount. The mount feels extremely cheap and I was afraid that with repeated use of taking it off and putting it on that it would just break very quickly. Also, once you put the light on the mount, you can forget about removing it, it is nearly impossible. I returned this item for a refund before anything bad could happen.

Great tail light - one small issue
I bought this to replace my previous tail light that fell off the seat post. This one uses a rubber chain and hook system that offers decent flexibility and attachment options. I’ve noticed it does not hold charge as long as my previous tail light. It charges off USB, so this is more of an inconvenience than deal breaker...also, if you put it on flasher mode the battery life extends

Does not like the cold at all
This is not ment for use in Canada. The battery can not hold a charge in the cold at all and the light does what it wants too, mostly turning off. I would like to say something good, however all I did was add to the garbage of this planet. Not worth it at least up here in Canada.

Best budget light
Can't go wrong for the price. Bright enough to be noticed, not too much to blind other cyclists/drivers. Although it's a simple design, once it's attached to the seat post, it looks surprisingly nice! The only complain: you can EASILY loose the rubber attach. I was very careful, still I lost mine after the second charge... otherwise I would have give a 5-star rating.

The light only holds charge for a couple of Days
Not sure if I got a lemon but this light is not good at all. It only holds a full charge for 3 days maximum. I only use the rear light at night and my commute home from work is only a 10 minute bike ride. In addition the bracket broke after a week of use so not a good light. Consider getting another rear light and not THIS ONE!!!
