Buy Rapid Eyewear Very Dark Category 4 Sunglasses for Extreme Sun & Photophobia | Wrap-around glasses with an extra dark Cat 4 tinted lens for men & women: ideal for light sensitive eyes & migraine sufferers: Sunglasses - desertcart.com โ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Yes. Get them - If you are super sensitive to bright light I hen you need these. Next stage up and you're wearing cutting lenses. Lost the rubber arm covers but they still stay in place on my head. Good fit, and with a hat are even more effective. Look good with just about anything and vest of all I can see the road in front of me again. Review: Need dark? These are your sunglasses. - I got tired of wimpy sunglasses that weren't really that dark. I mean, where do stars get their dark glasses? Not at my optometrist, they had wimpy sunglasses like CVS and Walgreens. What's the point? On the other hand, these are very cool. I got 3 of them because unfortunately I periodically lose one. The rubber tips seem to come off the arms, but you know what? I don't even care, I leave them off. Sunglasses still fit great. Can't go wrong with these.

Not certain they are Cat 4, but much darker than my go-to pair
Confused be all the 1 star ratings claiming they are no darker than typical dollar store sunglasses. Not certain if they strictly meet "Category 4" specs, but noticeably darker than my daily Sam's pair. Purchased because I have 2 floaters as a result of a posterior vitrious detachment, and the wrap-around design is excellent for blocking light leakage from the sides. Not certain about durability, but comfortable to wear and seem of decent quality.

Not too dark for driving!
After I had cataract surgery, the sun was just too bright and the standard sun glasses were just by dark enough. These cat 4 glasses are great and they are light and very comfortable and the stay in place without slipping at all. Yes I wear the for driving. They are not too dark. I am going to assume that as an adult you are able to judge when they might be too dark to use safely, and switch to something lighter. Personally, on really bright sunny days, driving with these us a pleasure.

Not dark enough and fall apart
These glasses are dark,, but not dark enough and they fall apart. I have extremely light sensitive eyes. Sometimes driving can be difficult in the daylight, and even at night with on coming traffic, street lights and glares. I bought a pair of dark Sunglasses from Disney (One of the $37 ones in nicer gift shops) these glasses are no darker then those. I also wear them indoors and at night, no problem. So they are not that dark for people who are light sensitive. I have had them a little over a year, and they have been falling apart for about 5 months now. The ear piece separates and the frame pokes through on both sides. Catches on my hair and hurts. Iโve glued them 3 times. One of the ear pieces ripped off at the tip. The nose pieces twist and come off regularly. I need a new pair of glasses desperately, but I wonโt buy these again.

NOT CATAGORY 4. Terrible glasses.
They are no darker than any of the other sunglasses I own. As far as not using them for driving, WHY? I put them on and drove 10 miles. I could see every traffic light perfectly. I also had no problem seeing anything and anyone around my car. They are good sunglasses but not spectacular as they would want you to believe. It said made in the UK but it shipped from a warehouse less than 10 miles from my house ( in a suburb of Chicago). It also says Made In China on the glasses. BIG RIPOFF.

So glad I found these! They really block the intense light and glare from the sun!
These glasses are fantastic in the full blazing sunshine! I was amazed at how well they work. There still is some glare like when the sun glints off a car windshield, but I found that the glare is significantly reduced. No more squinting and no more glare after images, eye strain and headaches! I like these a lot!
