YETI Daytrip Insulated Lunch Bag for Adults - 6L Soft Cooler, Olive

I ordered the 6L Daytrip Cooler Bag as a smaller option to the 14L Bag I already had. The 6L is a handy size for one/two person day outings where you want to carry a couple of drinks and maybe a small lunch or snacks with out the larger size, weight and bulk of a larger cooler. The magnetic flap lid makes getting into the bag very easy, and creates a good seal to keep in the cold. Although a soft sided cooler, both the outer and inner shell material is very durable, like all Yeti products. I have used the 14L Bag on numerous boating and canoe trips and it’s held up well with some rough handling. Both outer and inner shell material is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The zipper closed outside pocket on the back, and magnetic closed outside pocket on the front are handy for small accessory items like keys, phone, etc. The 6L model has a small loop handle that is convenient for hand carry but not long enough for over the shoulder transport. I also purchased the Yeti shoulder strap to use when needed for the 6L Bag. It attaches easily to the side loop straps and is adjustable to fit a wide variety of situations and would be comfortable for using on hikes or other longer carry outings. The Yeti Medium size Thin Ice freezer pac fits very well in the bottom of the 6L Bag, and will keep things cold for the day. Both the 6L and 14L could be used for longer overnight outings if you are conservative in opening them up, but they are really designed more for day outings and not longer term cold storage. If you are looking for a smaller size, lightweight yet extremely durable day or overnight cooler bag the 6L bag is an excellent option with its convenient size and features. 5 stars in my opinion.

Size is perfect for carrying a couple of meals. The fabric is very durable and wipes clean with ease. The magnet closure on the top holds well so that the bag closes tightly. Cold packs inside keep food cold for hours. Highly recommend.

Truly happy with the durability and how it seals everything at great temperatures and keeps it dry. Also really happy with the color and overall appearance.

Loving it so far! Actually a lot of room I was able to pack four water bottles, haven’t had it super packed yet, but very glad I went with the 6L! Love the color too! Will try and do an updated review.

Generous bag which has replaced a shopping carry bag. External pocket holds a cutlery set and that pocket is deep enough that the set can be pushed down. The 2nd external pocket has a zip close and is also a convenient size for other items. Internally, the bag holds glass containers for leftovers and allows space to also carry a small salt and pepper pack. Closes easy and the 6L size is perfect for one person.
