I bought the 5-pack of Police Magnum to keep one in my backpack, another at home, and give one to a family member for emergencies. The size is compact and fits well in a pocket . The twist-top safety is easy to use, but it doesn’t activate accidentally; you need to rotate the red cap to unlock it, which gives confidence when carrying it around. The metal canister feels sturdy, so it handles heat and impacts better and feels safer than plastic ones. I did a brief outdoor test, and the spray comes out strong and concentrated, so it should work well in an emergency. It’s worth the price, and I think it’s a good option for anyone looking for a simple, affordable, and reliable defense spray for emergencies.

It won't hold off a bear, but it will keep creeps and smaller animals at bay. I feel much safer walking at night just knowing I have it.

This review wants me to state Range, Concealability, Spray Quality, Design, and effectiveness… let me tell you.. I added this can of pepper spray to my EDC bag and have it in an easily accessible spot for rapid deployment. I made it a habit to take my can out once a week and check for leaks and give a shake to make sure oils weren’t settling at the bottom of the can. Well this one evening I begin my weekly habit and pull the can out of my bag, little did I know I was holding the spray button and it was not in the safety position. I proceeded to shake the can but instead let off a nice stream of OC right over my head into the kitchen approximately 15’ behind me slightly spraying my wife’s shoulder and side of her arm, I then brought the can down quickly and was able to manage a short splash onto my forehead. The splatter from my forehead was enough to send splatter at basically point blank range out about 4’ around me. Ready for the effective part??? Well my wife calls me an idiot and walks away down the hall to the bedroom to wash off. Well I am left sitting in my wheelchair when the burning feeling really starts to take over. Word of advice,, don’t rub this stuff it just makes everything worse… at this point my wife is screaming that her eyes are burning I’m trying to wheel myself to a water source and neither of us can help… after several minutes of cursing and painful screaming everything settled down only for us to mention the whole house is spicy after we dragged the oils all over and not even heavy mopping made it better. We spent a couple days with burning itching eyes in our homes and our poor dogs wouldn’t come back in for about a week. So I would say this stuff does its job pretty well just hope it’s on an attacker and not myself next time I use…

Quite small. I used one as a tester and the spray is a bit 'misty'. Hopefully the wind will be going away from any users. Easy to store in almost any area in a vehicle, I put them in all vehicles and on our bicycles.

They are compact and portable just know that they get the job done.

I've never had to use this thankfully. But i've shared several of these with other neighbors and friends, and this is a great economical by for any consumer.Especially concerning your safety.
