Good budget TV
This TV is great value for money. The remote is simplified but very functional; it can be charged via the input solar panel or USB-C connection. The 4k picture quality is really good. Not a fan of the more complicated picture processing modes, I tend to leave it on normal. Sound is good considering it really thin, but you can always add a sound bar. The smart TV features are good, really fast. You can't go far wrong buying this TV if you are on a budget. The colours are really bright and vivid, not as good as OLED, but far better than straight LED.

Easy set up, good quality picture and sound
Lovely TV easy to set up using QR Codes and mobile phone. Picture and sound quality good but still better if using a sound bar. No aireal required nor fire stick just upload the apps but most are already on there. Fast reaction time while using remotes. Can also use Alexa on the remote to change channels etc. Overall a good purchase especially for the price.

Very good TV
Wasn’t the easiest to install, but fine if you have someone with a bit more knowledge on hand! Great TV with good sound and picture.

Another small step forward
Purchased for the football - it initially replaces a 5 year old Samsung set that gets relegated to another part of the house. You can notice the difference in picture quality and set up between both sets - you can see that Samsung has been constantly improving year by year. The picture quality is excellent, the sound is ok, the set up is average and the stands that accompany the tv whilst safe and secure has certainly been manufactured to cost - the stands are certainly not a premium product. A small gripe but it annoyed me.Will the tv do justice to a fast moving football game being broadcast on sky? It will - no sign of delay or shadowing and it enhances your enjoyment of the game. Movies have a good crisp feel but you may need to adjust the set to your own liking. The sound will eventually make you consider getting a sound bar but currently I can live with it.Why have I not scored it higher? It is a competent, good quality tv but I don’t feel that we are pushing the envelope here. Granted we have the solar remote and the blocky standard Samsung remote but I don’t have that feeling of being breathless when I switch it on. It’s probably me remembering the jump from standard definition to high definition or the jump from video to dvd - truly groundbreaking. A good set but I suspect Samsung have more to give.

Samsung q60 43 inch. Seems good to me.
This TV was to replace an older Sony that had frozen up after becoming increasingly glitchy. I had been looking at TCL and hisence which were a bit cheaper, but the reviews seemed more mixed than gor this. Also it would arrive on a Saturday rather than a work day. Delivery was a bit of a game, but when isn't it?. Anyway, it duly arrived and was set up the next morning. It's a few years since I set up a TV, and things have come along. Very easy with a phone to set up Netflix etc. picture is great once all tha motion stuff is switched off. For me the eco option is actually best after light tinkering. Dark scenes will never be up to oled standards, but they are a whole lot better than previous TV. Sounds is thin but it's linked to a soundbase and a surround set up so not an issue. Operating system seems fine, pretty quick to connect and select apps. I've not used the second remote yet so can't comment on that. The main one is ok, maybe a little crammed making it very easy to hit the wrong button, but that seems to be a common complaint on many units. All in all I'm happy.

Thin and lightweight
This is a great mid ranged tv, picture excellent value for money, picture is perfect, great connectivity, slim and lightweight that's easy for wall mounting. The features are good, the only downside is the apps, there's too few, only the popular apps are available. Overall 5/5

What you need to know before you buy this .Its not bad but...
I own a 10 year old Samsung and decided to upgrade ,I do not hate this new TV but there are issues whichyou should know about . If id given it 3 stars no one one would read the review .1. There is no comprehensive manual in any form available either in the box or online . The quick start guide is worthless so its down to you to work out what the menus contain . This is a major problem2. The Help screen available from within the setting menu is patronizing and worthless.'i know how to change the channel on the remote'!!!3. If you use use your existing TV as an alarm clock to come on at a specific time in the morning This will not work for you this does not have this feature . There is a sleep time 30min 60min etc and a a turn off at a specific time that's it .For some this may be a showstopper.4. You cannot edit the channel numbers eg If you want say Blaze on channel 64 to be on channel 1 you cannot do that on this model. You do have 5 favourites where you can add channels but that not what i did on my last TV is simply deleted channels i ahd no interest in and rearranged the numbers of the one i wanted . You can delete channels on this set .5.There is no headphone out socket should you want to run a leaded set of 2.1 speakers .6. Addition speaker/soundbar is connected by Bluetooth which actually worked faultlessly and after a long search you will find a menu setting to allow both these and the TV speaker to operate together but you'll bet a latency lag between them so I would nt bother use a soundbar or the tv not both .7. Set up is over complicated . If you want to detect all free view channels and who wouldnt right .... DO NOT select a service provider when asked , theres an option of 'my service provider is not listed' .. half the freeview channels i watch were missing if i selected a provider.8. If you want an amazon fire stick in one of the HDMI sockets you'll need an HDMI extension that comes with the firestick because the fire stick is too thick for direct HDMI connection9 TV is very thin and on a wall mount that makes getting to the sockets for hdmi usb and aerial a pain , buy a small mirror ....10. the sockets are on the right side of the screen , that may be a deal breaker to some people .11. Samsung want you sign up to their service to get the samsung tv which gives about 499 other channels so thats another company collecting your data .12. Do not bother to download the smartthings app as theres nothing on there that is of value for this tv. ithought the on timer might be there but nope.13. Its far too easy to press the netflix, prime video or rakuten ( whatever that is) buttons as the remote is small and those buttons are are around the direction button arrows.14. The setting menu is rather basic compared with my older set which had a diagnostic mode which saved the day a couple of times. The good1.Pictures fine2.tv sound is ok3. price was ok4. you can record programs to a usb stick or drive but do not get excited that they are MP4 and you can transfer them they are not they are in an encrypted format that can only be decrypted and viewed from the TV .5. you get a second smaller quick remote which is solar powered or usb charged .Happy to take questions
